Dr. Roger P. Handrich, MD

"Manipulative drug pusher. When I was 18, and just transferring to an adult psychiatrist, I went in to see Dr. Handrich to get a renewal of my medication for sleeping, and to continue my other medications at the same level. He ended up TRIPLING the dosage of two of my other medications, and prescribing me to some strange pill that I didn't have symptoms to require, even though I clearly didn't need any increases and was doing well in my life. "I'll cut you a deal" he said, "if you let me increase these pills and add this pill, then I'll give you what you want (the sleeping medication renewed)". I'm surprised he still has his license. He clearly only cares about the money. He never once seemed concerned about the many negative effects of his constant dosage increases on my mental or physical health. Long story short, I stopped going back, I stopped taking all the medications he forced on me, and I have never been happier. People like him shouldn't be working in healthcare, they should be in prison. The only reason I give him one star is because I cannot give him zero."
