"While living here, an employee of DCC Management knocked on my door at 8:30pm, slurring his words and clearly intoxicated, to talk conspiracy theories. He left, but came back minutes later to acknowledge that he knew I had a boyfriend and attempted to ask me out anyways. He was essentially my landlord/maintenance and had moved into the unit next to mine. He previously told me he kept a separate spare key to my apartment by his front door, then asked me not to tell anyone about about the spare. He lacked critical thinking skills or thought I could be manipulated, bc I have been told the dumbest things and lied on multiple occasions about maintenance issues and other complaints. I have felt violated and unsafe in my apartment. Additionally, management denied the same insurance policy they previously approved. They indirectly insulted my insurance agent and with less than 4 months on my lease, forced me to switch companies so my policy covered them. Slumlords make enough to pay for their own insurance. What they were asking for should have been a separate policy from protecting my own belongings. Find somewhere else to live. There are nice apartments that don’t violate your privacy and harass you."
