"While I love the doctor, nurses and the medical care I receive at lake region health care, getting my bill figured out is a totally different matter. For over two months I am struggling to get a concrete answer of what I owe. Since I have no insurance this amount changed multiple times. I tried to get a supervisor to talk to me or at least call me back - nothing. Anytime I call they are either out or in a meeting. I understand they are busy people but so am I. A call back would be greatly appreciated so I don't have to call them every other day."

"Pathetic excuse for a hospital. They can’t set open fractures, they can’t diagnose a bad gallbladder, they’ve missed crucial blood clots that could have resulted in death. Don’t even get me started on them on not being able to do sexual assault testing. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE AN ACTUAL ISSUE OR SUSPECT AN ISSUE. They have almost let so many people I know die. If it wasn’t for the Alexandria or Fargo hospitals, I’d be down three friends right now."

"I would not recommend anyone go here. I have preferred one insurance and I was over charged by 500% for the same services I received at the university of Minnesota hospital as well as the Mayo Clinic hospital. This service was performed in May. After many hours on hold, ignored calls, and promised calls back all the way up the chain of command to the Vice President nothing was solved before the new year when FSA expires and the new insurance plan year starts. This hospital is a fraud and does not have your best interest in common. The management team is only in it for the profit they steal from you or make from your insurance company. You are better off driving elsewhere even if it is driving all the way to Minneapolis."
