"My review is not about the Maumelle Library itself but mostly about the outdoor recreational center that is part of the Maumelle Library. It is a great place to bring kids. They have a Waterpark, and a large pond to fish. There is plenty of room for the kids to run around. Normally, it is hard to catch any fish here as people tend to overfish the place. However, right after the pond is stocked you can usually do some good fishing there for a couple of weeks."
"Beautiful library. Peaceful and quiet. The views of the lake are a nice relaxing touch. The staff members are super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Liz for all her assistance and information about the Maumelle area. While visiting AR, I needed a quiet place to work and a solid wifi connection. I went in on a Wednesday and had a very productive work session. Fast forward to today (Saturday 7/29) when I walked in the door and Liz greeted me by name. Now THAT is a stellar staff member! Thanks to all who keep this library beautiful and well maintained. The splash pad next door was a huge hit with my kiddos after a few hours of reading in the library."

"I really like this library, and other CALs. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The only problem that I have, which is the reason for the 3 star rating, is the NOISE. When I think of a library, I think of a place that should be a quiet place to read/study. But it's like nobody even thinks about it. Not even the staff. I even see people taking phone calls, and you can hear the whole conversation completely across the building. The staff did nothing."
