"Great staff and location. They treat you with respect and they listen to you. Great interaction with the nurse, health professional and the doctor. Glad they are in town."
"My dad is a Korean vet and I've been taking him to the VA in GF since it's been open and we've never been dissatisfied. The staff and doctors are always friendly, helpful and compassionate. My son served 6 years and frequents the VA as well and also speaks highly of the staff and doctors. What a blessing to have a facility like this in GF."
"Maybe some of GFVA doctors are good but mine was awful, to the point of being scary she’s allowed to practice medicine. I had a major orthopedic issue and was completely blown off. I ended up seeing a public Neurosurgeon on my own dime who actually did a X-ray & MRI to find out exactly what was wrong and how bad it was. If you have a cold or something minor probably okay to use but if you have any kinda issue beyond that RUN!"
"I tried to go to the Grand Forks CBOC as a walk in on Friday 07/06/2018 and they told me they didn't take walk ins and they were fully booked. Give me a card for the nurse line and I went to my car and called and they said yes you can be seen and they called the nurse at the CBOC and now they could see me. Went back in and waited 2 1/2 hours, they put me in a room and left me I finally just walked out.. So today 07/09/2018 I called and made an appointment to be seen and got in at 2:00 pm just to have the doctor tell me I needed to go to Fargo to have x-rays done without even examining me. I said can't I be seen locally and said no I lived to close to the Fargo VA. According to what I have read if you live over 40 miles you can be referred to a local hospital. I live 74 miles from Fargo. So I guess this was just revenge for waking out Friday. I will be filling a formal complaint with the VA."
"small clinic but good staff for the most part sometimes it is hard to reach the person or people that you need to speak with because of the location (alot of the staff works surrounding areas as well as the grand forks area) over all its not fargo, all resources for veterans are not there but they have the information or know how to get it too you."
