"What a terrible hospital and staff. I am 19 weeks pregnant and came into the ER at 1:30am due to severe pain and vomitting and ended up walking out in that same pain because they lacked the professional curtesy to supply me with adequate liquids, a proper IV and any explanation as to why they were trying to have nurses throw meds at me when I had declined them already. The doctor came in once and sent me to imaging, A Timothy from imaging made the experience very comfortable but that was the ONLY staff I had a good experience with. I had a nurse make a very uncomfortable comment to me about wrestling my water bottle away from me because I might need surgery and that was my last straw, for my safety and proper care I got up and left immediately. My end of care summary notes are so inconclusive and make so little sense that I went straight to my midwife center after they ole ed and they reordered imaging and found out what was wrong with me."
"Until your family is in critical condition you simply hope and pray they are in good hands at whatever hospital they end up in. I swear there is some sort of code color they must put on charts that tells all staff this patient doesn’t deserve to live. Then they push the family to decide right now, on the spot, on their addenda. Everybody wants their loved one to live on and improve and that is what we were so badly fighting for. Then palative care was shoved down our throats. Oh it’s the best care, we will send over the paperwork right away to the nursing home so he can be transferred, then pulled him off all machine monitoring his heart rate, o2 levels, etc. They never ever said that’s what they were doing. They stopped administering any and all meds and said they would give him what was need to be comfortable if he said he had pain. At any rate to make a long story short within one day he was dead. That’s called inhumane care. You decide who should live and who should die. Then smooth talk the family that this is the best decision and the patient would most likely succeed in this type of care. Really sucks that this is happening in every hospital across the globe."
"All the staff at the hospital go above and beyond to make the patients comfortable. I had a friend who recently had surgery. They even make it an enjoyable experience as well. I started coughing a little and the nurse asked if I wanted some water and said I would and she came back right away with a glass of water. The entire team at the hospital is amazing. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I could go on and on about all of the nice things they do at the hospital. Highly recommend."
"After surgery, our friend had the best care! South parking ramp, 2nd floor, was right outside his recovery area. All the nurses were attentive, but a couple went above and beyond. Three days & nights playing cards and laughing, they let us keep our patient entertained as he counted the minutes to go home. Gorgeous view of the Mississippi from his room. The Harvest cafe coffee was hit or miss, but breakfast food was made in front of our eyes in the main cafe. Omelettes & Pancakes hot with the suran wrap or foil option available for the walk to the room. Art and photography made me feel like I was visiting all of Minnesota during our stay."
"I was told bad things about this hospital and I was doing all in my power not to deliver here but baby came with lightening speed and this is where the ambulance brought me. my experience was amazing. I had a precipitous labor and everyone from the environmental techs to the nurses to the midwives/doctors were caring professionals. The food is really great here. They take care of the mothers and babies. They listen to your concerns and work with you as a team instead of coming to a decision without consulting you. I really appreciated that."
