"Mayo hospital in Fairmont MN favors supplying a 61 yr old female seeking help for my intense shoulder, neck and left arm pain (my dominate side) 40 Opioids instead of an easy fix, with "Trigger Point Injections." Does that make sense to you? Oh, yeah, for my $ 75.00 dollar co-pay, I took home a lovely ice bag."
"Primary care physician always booked solid, told to go to urgent care or another provider constantly. How can i maintain good health getting tossed around like a ragdoll. They are plenty nice in person but after that care is not their to priority.i feel like the medical system fails people. It's like a puppy mill. If ur not getting a typical annual check up, basically a child or elderly u slip thru the cracks. No building a raptor, no interest in patients unless it's basic and easy"
"Because of Dr.Keegstra, I would rather die in a ditch than attempt to get medical attention from her. Also tell her to brush her teeth, more often than not her breathe is awful."
"First time i went in for a neck injury. There answer was a covid test. Half a year later Refused to see/treat me going into urgent care. I have a runny/stuffed nose. They yet again defaulted to covid and refused me without a screening being done. After that phone call they said they refused to treat me until the test results would come back. Going to have to look into the legalities of this. Was under the impression refusing services was illegal. You've been warned people. Good chance you will be treated like cattle. Also expect every other phone contact to be unbelievably rude there."
"We live 40 mins from this location, so we called ahead regarding an urgent care visit as the nurse line stated to bring our 5-yr old in to be seen. Upon speaking to the receptionist at the urgent care on the phone she stated they were a walk-in clinic and that we could just come in. As soon as we got off the phone we got in the car to head to urgent care. When my wife brought our 5-yr old inside and shared that we were told to be seen from the nurse line she was turned away and told she would absolutely not be seen today and that we could go to the emergency room. As a father, it is frustrating that you would be turned away when you enter the urgent care at 535pm when it closes at 7pm after driving that far. The reception that my wife received from the front desk staff was unacceptable and not an appropriate level of care that you expect to be shown from the Mayo Clinic."
