"I went to see a comedy show "ISMO". Finding the seats was easy, and the theater was clean. The bathrooms are in the basement, so use the stairs or elevator to use them. I would recommend that if you are thirsty to buy two dri ks before the show starts, the consessions close shortly after the show starts, and you will be unable to get another drink."
"Another jewel in the Minneapolis Theater District crown. Compared to the State Theater and the Orpheum, the Pantages is the smallest, but possibly loveliest of the three. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, with giant columns, gilded ceilings, amazing stained glass, and chandeliers, exuding classical charm. The auditorium is relatively smaller than the other two, which makes the space feel even more intimate. Sight lines are fantastic everywhere. The gently pitched floor makes it easy to see the stage, and the sound system is more than adequate to fill the space without sounding shrill. Entry and exit is easy, with adequate staff to help guide you if necessary. The seats are classic wooden fold down padded numbers, that are comfortable enough to get you through a two hour show. Access to the restroom is easy, as they are just downstairs in the lobby. Public parking ramps abound within blocks of the theater. They are generally expensive in the evening, but easy to walk to and are abundant. While the Pantages Call won’t be able to compete with the other two for the “big” shows (ie: traveling Broadway acts) I feel like it’s a superior space for music and comedy. If you want to feel up close and personal with your artists in a beautiful auditorium, the Pantages is definitely a place for you."
"Lovely classical restored theater, a real beauty with excellent sound quality for concerts."
"A beautiful theater, well restored. I can remember visiting here way back when when it was a Mann movie theater, it really is a large space it's still manages to have an intimate feel. Plenty of parking lots and ramps around, not inexpensive but easily accessible. Very good security. The staff was all top notch and very friendly."
"Great venue to see a show. The sound quality is great and I enjoyed the smaller personal experience, a great 30's Era building. A.J. Croce was an incredible experience!"
