"Awful awful. I’ve been waiting for weeks and weeks for the infusion center to call and set up an appointment. Grateful I don’t have anything more serious. This is ridiculous. There is no explanation or excuse for the lack of communication when I have reached out numerous times to check in."
"After my significant other had an an upper endoscopy at the Saint Cloud Hospital, i took him home with me to care for the night. A few hours after, he was struck with severe chills and felt like he was freezing from the inside out. He was dizzy and generally not feeling well. He was not thrilled with the idea of going to Paynesville where he didnt know anyone or had any connections. After some convincing he did go since he felt so terrible. Paynesville's emergency room was efficient, caring, respectful, and they listened to all concerns from both of us. There was a small wait but they did everything in their power to help as soon as possible. Brody from CT, RN melissa, RN missy, cristine from lab, Dr Michael, and the last nurse i cant remember the name... fantastic fantastic!!!"
"Terrible service one arrives dying of pain I understand why you have to wait everywhere. A patient arrives after me. They pass that one on to me, they leave me waiting, they go up and down, they see that one is sick with pain and nothing they do, they have some doctors who are not professionals. and the service of the nurses is appalling. so expensive that they bill the plan there just for looking at you and what poor service they provide"
"Took my Dad to Emergency room. We sat in mismatched chairs in front of the wood paneled desk of the “triage center” for fifteen minutes while I watched call buttons ringing the whole time with nobody so much as flinching in an attempt to answer them. After Dad was “triaged” we were taken to actual waiting room as all patient rooms were full. This waiting room was a lobby entryway, literally the cold, small enclosure between an exterior and interior entry door. There were three uncomfortable chairs, no music, no magazines, no tv, no offer of a blanket to keep my Dad warm, who was told by the triage nurse “ you look so pale, I bet you are very cold, you must need a blood transfusion”. We waited approximately 30 minutes when a nurse came in and told another patient in a very impatient manner there was no way to know how long the wait may be, could be til 10:00pm and there was nothing to be done about it. She said we have one Dr and one nurse for everyone and that’s the way it is. I’m all about waiting turns in an emergency room, I waited 8 hours in my last visit to one in the cities. But the staff was kind and professional, they showed care to the patients, they made sure they were well while they were waiting. I took my Dad home and did not wait to see a Doctor here. I could see from the upkeep of the hospital that he would not be receiving up-to -date care, and I could tell from the staff he would not even be receiving care. I can’t recommend this emergency room to anyone."
"My husband went in for problems with his feet. It was recommended that he use inserts in his shoes and that they would special order them to fit his feet. He asked the nurse if Not at all happy with with insurance covered it and he was told she didn’t know. We went ahead and ordered them, well we get a bill for $417.00 as they are not covered by insurance. My husband called the billing department and after arguing with them about the cost he was transferred to the manager and was told that the staff knows they aren’t covered under insurance. Our question is if they know it’s not covered why didn’t they say anything? Besides, why on earth do they need to charge so much money for something you can get at any pharmacy for under $50.00 a pair. They need to start giving you an estimate of costs and they should be upfront on what insurance covers so you can make an informed decision on medical purchases. Not at all happy with the services we received"
