Riverside Point Resort Motel

"I grew up coming to Park Rapids so, my love for the town runs deep. :) This was a first at Riverside and our weekend stay in #7 was a win! The cabin was very charming, clean, and cozy (reminded me much of my grand-parent's old resort in the area). We had ample towels, kitchen supplies, etc. to get us through. Even the ice cube trays were freshly filled! The location is awesome! Beautiful views of the water surrounded by woods. We were only a few blocks from a pizza place, coffee shop, and a very nice gas station with store inside for last minute forgotten items, snacks, etc. Downtown area was a quick 1/2 mile away as well. We indulged in one of the best burgers on the planet at the Royale and visited Aunt Belle's confectionary for homemade fudge and candy for our kids. We did not get a chance to enjoy the water. However, we walked along the docks and near the swimming area to which - was very sandy and clean. Next time, we look forward to taking out a canoe or paddle-board. The game room is quaint and simple. We managed to spend a couple of hours playing ping pong and really enjoyed it! No devices...just good times laughing about my daughter's surprisingly effective back-hand shot. Beds were comfy enough but we could've used an extra blanket or two for bedding and/or to snuggle on the couch. All in all, a really wonderful stay! We will be back. Thank you!"

"Cozy. Quiet. Beautiful little spot on the river. Close to a cute downtown with nice little specialty shops. Beautiful State Park less than 1/2 hour away. Friendly host who made sure we were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!"

"I brought my mom to visit her hometown the 18th - 21st and our stay couldn't have been better. Kristina & Matt were so understanding & helped so much in making my mother (mobility issues & signs of dementia) comfortable. From helping her get the best view possible of the Fish Hook river by moving us to cabin 8 to providing outdoor seating. They helped to make what could be her last visit to Park Rapids as smooth & comfortable as possible. The memories made during our stay mean the world to me."

"Best vacation of our lives! We planned to stay one week, but stayed 2 as we could not leave. 1. Location: ON gorgeous crystal clear Fish hook river, which flows into huge, stunning Fish Hook Lake. The setting could not be more stunning. 2. Kayaks/Canoes/Paddle boats/paddle board: all out your door, free of charge. a 30-minute paddle gets you to Fish Hook Lake. There is a public dock/swim area on your left where the river meets the lake. I can't think of a better day on the water. 3. Cabins: cleanest cabins I have stayed at. Very quiet as they are all separated by a car port. Full kitchen with every amenity you need--oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker (WITH Filters), dish soap, sponges, pots, pans, dishes. 4. Matt and Kristina: take impeccable care of the resort, and are such a delight. They made us feel like treasured royalty, and we feel like we have new friends "up north". We are already dreaming up ways we can go back ASAP and/or spend an entire summer at Riverside Point. This is a special place and we cannot wait to return! Thank you Matt and Kristina!"

"This place was absolutely wonderful!! We stayed in Cabin 9, I was a bit concerned as my husband is tall and this has sloped ceilings, they weren’t an issue. The bathroom was small but easily usable. The space felt cozy and peaceful. It has a well stocked kitchenette so you have great options eat in or go out. When we first pulled up Matt was quick to greet us without overwhelming us. The area down by the river is very cute and the perfect way to relax at the end of the day or take a breath and enjoy before the day begins!!"
