"My son was invites for a birthday party. He had a blast. Said breakfast was good, pool area looked great, sauna included."
"Updated review: My family decided to returned to this hotel for open swim only to find the pool temperature is super cold and the hot tub was only warm. Huge disappointment. I hope they get this fixed. Not recommended. This hotel offers open swim to the public for $10/person, which was a great option. However, the manager is really unfriendly, and ruined our last visit. They also insist on charging $10/person for children, too, so it gets quite expensive for a family. I was baffled my 3-year-old was charged $10. They should really consider $5/person for kids under 12. The pool water is clean and warm, and there is a dry sauna, but the hot tub is never hot. Also, the hotel pool is used for swimming lessons during the week until 7:30pm, making it inconvenient for hotel guests and public pool users alike. After my negative interaction with the manager, I will take my business elsewhere. The pool is nice, but the hotel is run down and not well maintained."
"Traveling in healthcare doing hospice care in home... Used to stay here many times until rude encounters with young manager/owner. Ended up here again by accident last night after rough day with client, shelled out $190 for hot tub room to relax, only to have the maid open door and walk in this morning at 9am. At 9am, you're still in bed, trusting in safety and privacy... check-out is 11am. When I double checked with same young manager/owner, he apologized, but made no offer to either a late checkout (no cost to them as room not sold for evening), or refund towards room. I just think this demonstrates the overall customer service attitude. *Oh, broken phone receiver -had to call front desk 4 times for him to hear me... And missing the all important tray the coffee pods sit in. You'll need to soak your coffee pods like a tea bag."
"When it was AmericInn, it was a great place to stop in for open swim and use the hot tub. I haven’t been there in a long time to enjoy the hot tub. We paid $10 only to enter a pool area that lacks major maintenance and cleanliness. The hot tub looked brown from the pool entrance door, as we went closer the whole bottom on the hot tub had rust/slime with multiple areas of clear rust/corrode. The pool bottom also looked to not be properly cleaned. Both the water foundations show the hard water and rust issue. We asked for a refund and the hotel attendant stepped to the back to get permission to refund us. I kindly suggested that she should make her manager aware of the pool and hot tub conditions and send pictures, because that pool area should not be make accessible to hotel guests!"
"They should not list it with a heated pool. We had to get a hotel for 2 nights since our house was being worked on. We chose this because of the pool for our kid to pass the time. We checked in and headed to pool. Pool was freezing cold, it was like taking a ice bath. Tried to cancel our second night but was told we would be charged a fee since we did not cancel 24 hours before we had arrived. So yep pool sucks and is grungy looking."
