Reviews
"I agree with all the reviews that complain about their billing practices. I am in nightmare mode as I can't get anyone to explain why I received a bill outside the medical system I used. I have never in my 15 years of using Fairview have I received a bill from an outside contractor. Medicare gave me the name and phone number of the Dr that signed the reading of my scan and it is a non working number. BTW, I had the same test a year ago for the same reason at the U of M and all was covered. Stay away from anything at Southdale."
"Bob was the best tech I have had for MRI imaging. He was kind and informative. He made certain my every need was addressed. He told me scan duration and how many were left for each area. I have MS endured MRI scans yearly for 8yrs. Scans for brain and spine take an hour. The room was bright with windows the lumbar support and elbow pads helped a lot. The mask was more see-through less like a hockey mask cage this made me feel less claustrophobic and locked in much better experience. Highly recommend this location for MRI scans"
"Take your business elsewhere. They are rude and condescending and change their Covid policy from visit to visit. They need to listen to the science and formulate a Covid policy based on that. Not even the governor flip flops that much!"
"I have faced a nightmarish billing issue with Subarban imaging. I got my wife's X-ray on 2/1 Got the bill raised to insurance and paid on 2/23. Did not get any bill from them and then got phone call as reminder of unpaid bill. Called the billing and provided with transaction number of full payment. They registered case and informed it will take 4-6 weeks!! After 4 to 6 weeks I get a Final Notice for an unpaid bill (which is part of the full bill). Unfortunately these guys are third party and Suburban imaging does not have a contact who can be talked to. I submitted the billing question form as well but never received a response. Not sure how to stop as it will go to now collection Agency and can affect my cr dit without my fault.. Never go to these guys. Pathetic. Update: May 17th Contacted Billing support and same pathetic experience with customer service representative. With no explanation or anything of the issue and no apology. Just straight it robotic answer. Suburban imaging should really rethink about the billing service company However Dave from internal Billing office did reach out and explained the situation and reassured the resolution. The explanation was and interaction was really nice and it didn't feel like I am talking to Robot or a wall. I would further update after resolution. But I would like to call out I don't have any complaint against the imaging service, which was on time and smooth. The third party agency for billing is pathetic and I don't think I would be able to have a positive opinion about the third party billing."
"While the procedure itself went well, Suburban Imaging uses a 3rd party billing company that is an absolute nightmare. They have multiple billed my insurance company 3x for the same procedure, hence my insurance company has declined these subsequent billings as they are duplicates. I have spoke with the billing company on 4 different occasions and during 1 of these conversations I even had a representative from my insurance company on the call to try to explain that they are duplicate billing. Here I am just about 3-mos after the procedure and I am still having difficulties to get their billing department to understand that they have billed my insurance 3x for the same procedure (kind of seems a bit like insurance fraud to me). I would strongly recommend going to a provider that can help you when you have any sort of issue vs. needing to transfer you to a low cost 3rd party. If you use this company you could run the risk of them destroying your credit as they hold you responsible for duplicate billings."
