Welcome to Lakes Area Inn, located at 604 North Main Street in Starbuck, Minnesota. Our lodging facility offers comfortable rooms with amenities such as a single bed, flat screen HD television, refrigerator, microwave, and free WiFi.
For families, our suite includes a queen bed in the bedroom area and a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room area. With 22 units, our motel has recently been updated with new flooring, paint, beds, and furniture.
We also offer a commons area in a separate building onsite, featuring a full kitchen, restroom, sitting/dining area, television, and patio for you and your family to enjoy during your stay.

"Staying here while working across the street as travel CNA. Rooms are clean. The noise level can be quite loud. The office is never open. The manager will meet you there to if you need to pay him. There is a little building where we can cook and do laundry. We can get supplies (clean towels or sheets) when we need them. You can change the sheets and drop the dirty ones in the laundry. There is a Casey's right next door and the post office and grocery store are within walking distance. I paid $1200 a month up front as agreed, and was charged an extra $330 when I left. Still waiting for an itemized invoice. If you are a travel nurse or CNA, look for a short term apartment lease in the area as soon as you decide you are staying."

"If I need to stay in the area again, I will definitely stay here. The room had a welcome note and snack bag. The cleaning staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and well maintained. You are within walking distance of many options for food and snacks. The air conditioner was a little loud but not a huge deal."
