City Park

"They denigrate job renovating the park, has a fun ninja warrior area stand volleyball. Lots of great picnic tables and a play structure as well as inclusive, merry-go-round and swings. My only complaint is that no dogs are allowed and that is not posted very publicly online so I ended up here with my dog and couldn’t bring him in. I even called City Hall to see if I could get details about whether he was allowed but no one answered."

"Such a beautiful park only complaints is the crosswalk I wish they had a light that you can push to stop the cars and make it easier to see on a busy road and then the sand pit. I wish it were a splash pad area vs sand pit I never see anyone there and it’s usually small kids so would’ve made sense for a small splash pad. But I think it’s such an upgrade from what was there before and we loved it before just was older."

"Park is nice and fenced in. I love this since it's located right off a main road and traffic light. Pavilion is settled between both play areas, which is great for keeping an eye on your kids when they can't make up their mind on where to play lol. Water fountains available in at least two spots as well. Didn't need the restroom, so I don't know how it was in there."

"The newest park northwest Arkansas is now open. Directly across from the Johnson police department is a new and expansive family park full of activities for all ages. From the tiny tots play zone to the full size ninja park. This has park has something for every member of your family. This park is fully ADA compliant and has lots of fun activities including swings a giant rocker for every member of the community. Parents will find important that there are nice new bathrooms and covered pavilion with lots of picnic tables, and tables and chairs all around the park. Once you get hot and thirsty, the water fountain have an integrated water bottle refill station, so bring your reusable water bottles and stay hydrated. Even beyond all of the fun play equipment there’s a full sized basketball court and sand volleyball pit that’s ready for use. The City of Johnson hit this one out of the park, this awesome public amenity for all Johnson residence or anyone passing through headed to Wrights Barbecue for example!"
