"We have observed and compared quite some daycares before we send kid to daycare, and my kid had been in a Montessori before the pandemic. I think Kirsten's place is one of the best daycares in the neighborhood, and I want to send my second to her place as well. Kirsten is an energetic lady with a lot of patience, and she cares about children's development. She tries her best to make sure kids have enough outdoor time, they often bring kids to different parks all around the twin cities. My kid enjoys outdoor time very much, it is important for us. Her back yard is also very fun, fruit trees, chickens, kids have a lot to do around the house. And even it is within her house, she has the basement all for kids, kitchen and bathroom are all there. She offers both raw and cooked vegetables to kids, sometimes cooks the fresh eggs from her hens. And one thing I noticed is, she always holds the young baby who cannot walk (I know not everybody does this)."

"I have 3 kids attend Scott Family Learning, from 3 months old until kindergarten (12 total years between the 3 kids). The family environment was exactly what we wanted. The daycare is in home, but separate from primary living space. The kids were well prepared for kindergarten! They worked with the kids on outdoor learning, such as gardening, field trips, etc. They were very successful during Covid. I would highly recommend Kirsten and Deb as daycare providers for your child... they will love it!"
