"I run a business with my wife and we are both trained observers. This is what we call the race to the bottom for quality and price. My baby stopped smiling at home after 3 weeks at this place. Kids are neglected is what we deducted it to. It took 4 days back home to become the same baby again. We saw a serious regression in what we were training our baby in that are fundamental to development. We asked the staff to continue these things and saw no progression. In fact no updates on it and no continued effort. Daily insightful updates were dumbfounding. "He had a good day." The infants out number the staff per 2 to 8. Most of the staff which was watching my child they seemed over whelmed or very under qualified. The 1 qualified person seemed to be 22 years of age where the unqualified person was 30-40 years of age. They use a odd buddy system as staff. 1 unqualified (Unqualified, meaning they don't have the legal certification to do what they do.) and 1 "Qualified" adolescent adult. Which begs the question of... many questions. Get a nanny, money better spent on you're child when it cost $740 dollars every 2 weeks. You also need to provide your own formula with the bottles pre-made. They waste an abundance of formula and on top of that every time we have brought our child home, the calculations are incorrect from what the bottle reads. For example "child ate 6 ounces out of a 8 oz bottle. However the bottle reads 5 ounces left, meaning they only had 3 oz. Per day they maybe waste 12-20 ounces of formula a day. Formula is extremely expensive at 0.69 cents per 1 scoop of formula that makes 2 ounces. This equates to $4.14-$13.80/ daily lost. Which equates to $82.80-$276.00 wasted a month. Who knows how much time and energy is wasted with breastfed fed babies."
"We LOVE Sonnet! Our son gets so excited when he sees his teachers and all of the staff are so friendly and great with children."
"We used to love Sonnet, but not towards the end. Our son was loved and taken care of. He is nonverbal but he had an amazing teacher who connected with him and made great efforts to make him feel welcome. However,we noticed some coldness towards him on days that his teacher was out. It felt like he was a burden coupled with the occasional remarks of how he ruined things. The directors didn’t have anything positive to say about him at his evaluation. Every kid has something amazing about them. They couldn’t tell us anything about our son. I think that was our final straw. I really hope they work on how they treat kids (and parents) from the diverse community."
"Our daughter started at sonnet when she was 5 months and it is truly through the Montessori experience and the amazing teachers and caregivers at sonnet that she has blossomed into the smart happy confident girl she is today. Not just a daycare for your infant either, they are constantly trying to implement new learning tools and activities to foster a growing mind. I have felt so comfortable and at ease dropping off my daughter each and every day and I can tell she is happy and had such a great day when I pick her up. I can also tell the staff truly cares about these little people like they are their own children as well. It’s so comforting knowing she gets loved up and cuddled and nurtured just like she would at home."
"We love Sonnet. Our 3-year old daughter has really flourished in the Montessori approach. She comes home happy that she played with her friends but also feeling proud of her "Montessori work" she did that day. Staff are warm with the children and friendly with the parents. I would recommend Sonnet to a friend in a heartbeat."
