"Purchased a camper today only because they had the exact one we've been searching for for a long time. positives: - the salesman assigned to us was on time for our appointment negatives: - salesman definitely could have been more knowledgeable about feature comparisons between the two models we were there to decide between - on two occasions the people who scheduled us for the appointment stated we could purchase and take it home the same day as our appointment quoting a TWO hour turnaround. In reality, 6 HOURS after saying yes to a camper we finally left the dealership. Definitely feel baited by the over promise of a quick turnaround just to get us there. - our "walk through/tour" of the camper was nothing more than us looking around; no real transfer of information - after walking through we waited an hour for the finance officer, Jesse; who had already worn out his apologies a few times throughout the day about being sorry/understaffed/it's Saturday/etc...(fyi Saturday is a great day for regular people to buy stuff. staff your business) - THE MOST DISTURBING part of our experience was the way Jesse treated us after declining his pitch of the extra warranties. He told us we were stupid to not purchase anything additional and ensured us our (brand new) camper would have issues/fall apart/etc., to try to scare us into making an expensive decision. When we replied that we didn't like hearing that he was guaranteeing a breakdown, he told us he was a realist. We should have walked out :( To top it off, no one we worked with - except the service guy who opened the shop doors for us to finally leave, made us feel appreciated. He celebrated our purchase with us, took our picture, and wished us a safe drive. Everyone else passed us around like we were a huge inconvenience and they just couldn't wait to be done, get their paychecks, and go home. Never a handshake, never a thanks for your business, nothing. So disappointing for what I hoped would have been a rewarding experience and purchase of our first camper."

"My husband and I had been keeping an eye on a specific camper for a long time. It recently popped up and was brought to the camper show in Syracuse beginning of this month so we went to look at it. Since we were lost, I asked a gentleman named Seth to help us find it at the show. Little did we know, it was going to take 2 hours to find this camper at the show. Seth went above and beyond to help us run around, after people telling us it was located in an area at the show that it wasn't, and never gave up until we found this camper. He has excellent customer service skills and made the long day enjoyable, and we bought the camper we had been looking for, for awhile. I wish he was at my local store so we could work with him again. Thanks again Seth, you're the best!"

"Edit: Camping World handled this situation very well. Mistakes happen but they did work to try to fix the situation after it was brought to their attention. Here’s what happened: I noticed smoke in the back of my RV when I plugged into shore power. So I unplugged and took my motorhome to camping world to have it looked at. The tech said he checked the connections in the breaker panel 3 times and said he couldn't find a problem at all. After the RV started smoking again after I plugged in, I went to another camping world where I was given a tech phone number. I called and was told I needed a new transfer switch or water heater. I didn't believe that. I canceled my cross country trip and began the journey home. I got to my first stop, I was able to check the breaker panel myself, since that's where the smell came from. Sure enough, I found a completely burned wire, with a very loose connection screw and several other connections that were loose too. The small control panel at the bottom was also damaged from a fire that wouldn't have happened if the RV tech had actually taken the cover off the breaker panel to check the connections. If I hadn't been an RV savvy firefighter I might have died in an RV fire because of their negligence and dishonesty about checking the breaker panel for loose nuts. No one would have known it was due to their negligence. And what's more they didn't seem to care. They already had my money, so what was there to care about?"

"This experience was top notch! Rolled out the red carpet when we arrived to take delivery. They will take as little or much time needed getting you familiar with your purchase. Dealing with the sales department was painless as well, not overwhelming and they give you plenty of time to make a decision. Service department is on par as well! Update! I rode over with my son while he took delivery of his new Grey Wolf 21GP icehouse. Same top notch sales, service, parts,and finance experience we had this spring! Matt went out of his way accommodating some requested we had. We definitely recommend shopping here!"
