"What an awesome company! Not only were their prices very reasonable for quality flooring, but Thayer and Mo went above and beyond, making sure our project was done right. They even went to the house a few times to make sure solutions were made on tricky areas. They were also fast! Some companies needed at least 2-4 weeks before getting started, but Carpet Mills had their flooring in stock and was ready to install within a few days. Just great and personable people overall! Highly recommend!"
"I highly recommend Carpet Mills! The owners Moe and Thayer are very friendly and helpful. The installation team was timely and very professional. I will definitely go back again to Carpet Mills for any flooring needs in the future."
"Excellent customer service. Mo showed us some excellent selections and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted in carpet. The installation went great. The installer was extremely conscientious with our furniture. Cleaned up and vacuumed afterwards. Carpet looks great in our home. Thank you Carpet Mills. Job very well done!"
"We had visited other places around town and couldn't find the style of vinyl we wanted. Then we happened to be driving by and I said, "How about Carpet Mills?" We met with Mo the owner and he came out and took measurements of the house. He worked with us to answer our numerous questions, and we ended up getting a great price. Installation day came, and a duo of professional guys showed up. They worked through the whole house taking care to move furniture without damaging anything, and taking up old tile and cleaning as they went. Then they laid the vinyl and it was all coming together. Add some quarter round and boom, three days later it was a glorious job. This was our first time looking into doing flooring in our home, and it couldn't have gone smoother. Seriously, check out Carpet Mills and ask for Mo. You'll be glad you did. A+"
"I DO recommend going here even though I'm giving it a one star. This is a hard review. I wish I could give the store and owners a five star and zero star for the installers. Moe is the absolute best, he helped me find a great carpet for an excellent price and even helped me out big time with backsplash for my kitchen. He even came out to my house the same day I visited the store to take measurements for the carpet even though it was late in the evening. I would absolutely recommend going to check them out. Unfortunately I have to give one star for the absolute poor excuse of an installation... It was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with contracted workers. First they were 3 1/2 hours late with no updates letting me know anything. I had to keep calling the store and ask for updates. When they finally arrived they just barged into my house screaming "hello!?" No knock or doorbell. I showed them the area to carpet and left to go to work (I had to go get updated on the meeting I had now missed). When I returned to the house the first thing I noticed when I looked down the stairs was that it looked like there were two different carpets put on the stairs (as you can see in the pic). They had put the carpet on in two different directions which was extremely noticeable. I have no idea why the installers thought it was ok to leave it like that. I called the store and made them come back immediately to fix it. When they tore it back up they scratched up the wall up, which will have to be repainted now. After they left, I went downstairs to take a closer look. The trim was completely trashed. Brand new, freshly painted trim, ruined. You can see this in the pictures. I didn't take a picture of every single spot but, not exaggerating, every 3-4 feet is a significant gouge that has to be patched and repainted. There's one 16 foot piece of trim I'm going to tear out and replace because it has so much damage on it. Also, the trim along every one of the 18 steps had significant damage. On top of all this, I also found blood on the wall. Needless to say, I have more paint to buy and HOURS of rework to do. I gave myself a couple days to cool off from being furious and drove out of my way to go to the store and talk to the owners in person, I really do like the owners and wanted to make them aware of how terrible the installers were. He told me it was in the contract that damage is to be expected. Yes, some scratches and a couple dings are expected. Not CHUNKS missing. I had carpet installed a few years ago in an area with 6 times as much length along the walls and the guy didn't leave a single scratch on the trim. It was the same trim with the same spacing to the floor. Also, the installers have no reason to go to any other part of the house. They messed with a new backdoor I just installed which is out of the way of where the carpet was being installed. I imagine they wanted to check it out as it's a very nice expensive double sliding glass door. I know they did because it was unlocked and the lever was twisted to a position it's not supposed to be in. They didn't relock it because they more or less broke it and couldn't get it to relock. I managed to get it to relock for the time being. I'm not sure what they did but I'll have to take it apart to see if I can fix it. Loved the store and the owners, I do believe they really want to help people out and get the best deal for them. They said they were going to handle the issue but honestly they should find new installers. I would recommend letting them know you read this comment and be very clear about what's acceptable as far damage goes on the installation before signing the contract. Pay AFTER the job is done properly with minimal damage."
