"Ordered 2 dozen cupcakes and a small smash cake for our daughter’s first birthday party. When my husband went to go pick up the order they told him they lost the order for the cake. They offered to decorate one last minute and my husband agreed to wait. The cupcakes were ready to go and looked perfect (light pink with white pearl sprinkles) but when the cake was handed to my husband it was bright neon pink with green.....? He didn’t say anything to them but I’m not sure why they couldn’t make one to match the theme or even semi-coordinate with the cupcakes."

"This location is very nice. I just wish it wasn’t so busy sometimes but that is not necessarily a negative thing. The staff is kind and welcoming. I was impressed with how they wiped down the checkout after each customer."

"OVERRATED! I have many, many issues with this grocery store. 1) Poor Value. In my view, everything here is overpriced. Produce, for example, is no better than Cub or even Walmart, and costs more. 2) Carry-out "Restaurants" are awful. I had, literally, the worst carry-out meal I have ever had from this store not long after they opened. Was so bad I won't ever get a meal to go from here again, nor would I even think about trying the sit-down restaurant. 3) Poor store layout. Maybe it's just me, but I have more trouble finding things here than any other grocery store. Seems like I'm running a maze. 4) Late-night shopping is a pain. For those of us who work evenings and pick up groceries on the way home, it sure is nice to be able to use a self-checkout to avoid waiting in line. Can't do that here, self-checkouts are closed late evenings. Not a problem at Cub or Walmart. 5) Out of stock on sale items. Every week in the flyer I get in the mail, there are a couple of sale items that actually are pretty good deals. Whoops! Empty shelves, out of stock. No, I don't want another rain-check, thank you. Please, can't you just, maybe, have the thing on the shelf so I can buy it? I could rant some more, but this review is way too long already. I will give an extra star to the employees who are very nice and try to be helpful. Bottom line: For good groceries and prices - Cub, Walmart, Aldi. - For top notch service and quality - Lund's / Byerly's. AVOID - Hy-Vee."

"Great gas station. Super friendly. Plenty of selection. But the best is the $1.99 box of glazed croissants. Oh. My. 6 of them for under two dollars. Great tasting."

"Easy to get through gas station, good car wash, and plenty of good items inside the station, from drinks to snacks to desserts. I love using the Hy-vee Rewards from the grocery store on the gas, it can be fairly easy to get 40, 50 cents off a gallon after a few grocery trips. I am a huge fan of Hy-vee, they have the grocery experience figured out."
