"This is a terrific amenity for our neighborhood. I buy beer here regularly because of it's proximity. The family that works here and runs the store is like a cohesive unit of friendly neighbors. I even got a solid recommendation on a good mechanic. On a random holiday I got a free mini bottle of booze. Another time I had an urgent need for a small bag of charcoal. They had me covered. This is a corner store of small successes that come through with honesty and hard work. The owners are caring, sincere people who add bucket loads of warmth and generosity to the community."

"Live nearby and come through often enough. Really enjoy walking here and interacting with the staff, which offsets the slight price increase you tend to find at smaller stores. "I’ve been coming to this place for 10+ years. I purchased a black box Cab. The box of wine was fermented. Tasted and smelled horrible. I went back the next day to see if I could exchange the opened and (FULL box) for a new box but it was an absolute NO GO. There was no recourse but “unfortunately once it’s opened it’s out of there hands”. They blamed it on the distributor and had me on my way. This just felt like extreme poor customer service. There “originals” would’ve never let that happen. Young gen has done a great job Aesthetically taking over, yet lack customer service skills. There’s always a solution to a problem and when there’s a problem with quality control that should not be leveraged on the consumer."

"I have lived In the neighborhood forever and every time I come here I have an issue. If I could give it zero stars I would. The women behind the counter is so terribly rude and I can’t stand even giving her my business. I’d rather give another tobacco store my business. It would be nice if they went out of business already and we could get a new tobacco store In there with friendly owners! During a time like Covid you would think they would be treating their customers kindly but they don’t. Don’t waste your time, drive down the street a little farther to the liquor barrel! In and out, clean and FRIENDLY staff."
