Ingerson Park

"This place is a nice area for little kids to play. It has a playground and a picnic area, as well as a few swings and benches. Has a large field and is a great place to bring your kids. It has a public restroom and is always clean."

"I would have rated 3 stars but for what it is, it's nice. Small park, small playground that didn't look like much. Very little parking but probably the park is mostly used by the people who live in the surrounding neighborhood. We went for sledding and my daughter loved it which is why it got 4 stars. You do have to find a place to go downhill between trees but that part is easy, the only issue really was trying to insure not crashing into trees by sliding too far because there is tree line around the entire bottom of the hill, providing some privacy for all the houses which surround 3/4 of the park. But we didn't hit any trees and it was great fun with not too many others around (my kids had significant anxiety about hitting others while she's sledding so we have to find hills that aren't packed with people)."

"Nice secluded small park with a variety of amenities, including a half basketball court, playground equipment, small pavilion with picnic tables, a bench swing overlooking the hill (great for sliding), and a good amount of open space. There is also a small parking area with a portable toilet available. Good place to bring kids for a picnic."

"I used to play baseball there 50 years ago, before it was a park. It's still a nice place."
