"I purchased a small container of ice cream and noticed there are issues with their freezer. The ice cream tasted like it had been melted and refrozen. I tried returning it, but was told without a receipt they could do nothing. They did admit to having issues with their freezer. I asked for the managers number and was refused. I was not very polite towards the end. However, the treatment I receive they’re considering they don’t ever give out receipts unless you ask them for one was subpar. I refuse to shop or customers are treated like criminals when they know and have admitted to having an issue with the freezer in question"

"I'm told it used to be better, but wouldn't know because all I've experienced here is bad customer service. I'm not normally one to leave reviews, but I expected more from a small town gas station. I never experienced such woefully poor service at gas stations when I lived in a bigger city, but I suppose with more job competition people take more care to do well and keep their jobs. Perhaps my understanding of small town MN customer service is skewed, but I was under the impression it involved being warm and friendly. Disappointed."

"This was only my second time to go into Pennington Main (Northdale) and I came out feeling so much better than when I went in! Jersey was at the cash desk and when I brought my things to the counter, her beautiful smile was contagious! I asked her about a product that I couldn't find and she offered to go look for it in the back. She was a bubbly beautiful presence in an otherwise rather wearisome day! Thanks, Jersey, for your great service and even more so, that winning smile and beautiful sparkling personality! Guard it with your life! It's a rare jewel! Note: as soon as Jersey left to go look in the back for me, a gentleman came behind the counter and asked if I was being looked after. He too, was very pleasant! Great staff, great place! Somewhere I would highly recommend!"
