"Jerry’s Floor Store did an excellent job with our Kitchen and Bathrooms! They helped us with the both the design and installation for our kitchen counters, back splash, bathroom counter and floors. Their team understood our goals and the tasks needed to get our condo remodel done within our timeline. They saved us a ton of money by not having to purchase 2 slabs for our counters! It was super tight but somehow their team was able to squeeze all of our counter pieces for our kitchen and window ledge on 1 slab. Our kitchen turned out great! The installs went smooth and everything turned out perfect, in both our kitchen and bathroom. It was very cool to be able to see every from start to finish. We love the new look in our condo! :)"
"I had to get new carpet in ‘quickly’ as we needed to get two new stairlifts installed for my wife who can no longer walk safely. I had originally planned to do new oak riser/runners and new railings for the stairs, but just did not have the time before the lifts had to be in, so went with carpet. The installer did an excellent job and was very friendly. And she (so sorry I have forgotten the installers name - that’s quite embarrassing) was VERY forgiving about our adopted dog who decided she needed to bark the whole time while the install was being performed :( Thank you !"
"We picked out our countertops and Jerry's did the fabrication and install. Their employee who measured our cabinets said in his opinion our island overhang required support brackets. When the countertops were installed the support brackets were not installed, although we were billed for them. When we questioned the brackets we were told that we would be refunded for them not being installed. Our concern wasn't the price of the brackets, but the risk to our expensive quartzite countertop, especially since their employee recommended we use them. I spoke with Dan, who said he thought we agreed to accept a refund for the brackets vs have them installed properly, which was never the case. I asked Dan if shelf bracket type pieces would add adequate support and he said no. I didn't want to make the installers have to do more work, but I politely requested that they return to install the brackets properly. When they arrived, it seemed as though they were primed to talk us out of it. Ultimately I agreed with them that the risk of damaging the countertops was too great and told them to just leave it. The mistake had been made and there was no going back. Upon receiving our remaining invoice, we discovered that the price of the brackets had been removed but a service charge had been added. My wife questioned why we would be charged more after the mistake that started this whole situation was made on their end. After all,, by agreeing it was too risky,, I saved the installers from a serious nightmare of having to remove our large island slab. We have been nothing but patient and understanding through this matter, attempting in every way to keep it amicable and polite. Not once have we received an apology, nor have they admitted fault for failing to install the brackets properly. It isn't about the price of the brackets or service charge. It's principal. It's good business. When you make a mistake, you admit your fault and you don't turn around and charge a service fee. We have worked with countless professionals on our new kitchen remodel, all of whom have been lovely and amazing. This is the ONLY company which is not based in our little community, and I think that says something. It's just business as usual for them, and we are simply another client number in their system. As for the electricians, plumbers, hvac, cabinet makers and others who have worked on this project, we have seen nothing but respect. Fast forward down the line, if our unsupported countertop overhang cracks or breaks, it will only be our insurance agent who will come to to rescue - also local. Be wary of companies who have no vested interest in your community. They have no face to save. No accountability. I will wait and see if they make this right, but am fully prepared to copy and paste this review on the Better Business Bureau as well as Angie's List and other applicable sites. Update : The charge was removed. Unfortunately this doesn't change the fact that they would pull a stunt like that in the first place. Nor does it change the fact that our $8300 countertop project 12" overhang is still not supported properly, per their employee's initial recommendation. In a review from 3 years ago they claim they wish to "make amends" and "improve communication". It seems as though they claim to be improving, but necessarily aren't. It's super disappointing. What was supposed to be an exciting kitchen remodel has turned out amazing, yet we will not forget this encounter. Shop local. Use companies owned an operated by your neighbor's and peers. Accountability and integrity matter..."
"It was our first time dealing with flooring and decided to rip out some carpet and linoleum and replace with a laminate floor. We did our own install so can't speak to that. We were impressed with their showroom and all the different flooring options available. Nicole was extremely helpful and professional. Pricing was very competitive and couldn't have been happier with the final product. We will definitely be back when tackling the next project!"
"The carpet looks really nice now that it is installed, but they need to really improve on their customer service. It took over a week and several phone messages back and forth just to get an appointment scheduled for someone to come over and measure. The person that came out to measure gave me an are you serious look when I chose the more expensive product to get an estimate on. At the time of measure we very clearly talked about the tile in the bathroom having an estimate to tear out preexisting tile and than replace with their vinyl flooring, however the estimate did not show this it instead showed putting the vinyl flooring right on top of the tile which would of looked terrible and the price to do was way to high so I didn't bother with getting the bathroom done. The estimate was not given at the time of measure, but emailed about a week later which was another wait. A different lady who helped revise the estimate to take off the vinyl flooring was helpful in doing so and quick to make those changes, however after it was written up and payment made it took another week just to make an appointment for installation due to them having to wait to order the carpet before scheduling. Once the carpet came in it was the back and forth phone tag again to try and schedule a day for installation and it was finally confirmed my installation day and I was supposed to be the first stop at 8:00am. At 8:00am of installation day my bedrooms were ready but they did not show and they did not call to say they were going to be late. I called Jerry's and got transferred to the installation people that told me they had a quick job to do first and guessed they would be there at 11. Come 11:30am I called Jerry's again and was transferred to the installation people's voicemail to get a call back to find the time now changed to 1pm. If they said 1pm from the start I could have gone to work in the morning instead of having to take the whole day off, it was extremely rude to say I'm the first job at 8am, and than keep bumping me. The final complaint I have on the service is that after the carpeting installation was finished I walk up to find the installers walking all over my new carpet with their shoes on. How extremely inconsiderate to walk all over a persons new carpet with you shoes that are worn outside and who knows where else."
