Reviews
"For a store called "fruit and fish" there is a sever lack of fresh fruit or veg, it's a lot of frozen or packaged foods"
"My favorite Eastern European market. Large selections of Eastern European goods including sweets and ice cream. Bread and sausages are always so fresh!"
"Brought my Danish friend here because I thought they would find all of the Russian items interesting plus they enjoyed the candy I've gotten there before. They just about broke down crying looking through and seeing a bunch of food from their childhood. Ended up buying a bunch of it and they are currently sitting right next to me having the time of their life eating the nostalgic food. When we checked out the woman didn't understand any English but was very friendly. I can't recommend this quirky little place if you have nostalgic European friends or just want some good cheap Russian candy. :)"
"Great ice cream and candy selections. The sunflower seeds are unlike any other I've tried before, I just eat the whole seed I don't have to spit any of the shells out, it's different. Good selection of meats and cheeses just wanted to show my support for Russia and Ukraine during times of fighting and war, nice peaceful Czechoslovakian family who manage the market."
"Lovely store with lots of variety. I'm new to Russian food so I can't say much, but the lady at the desk was very helpful. Will go back soon. There's a bar of homemade-looking pickled vegetables that's calling my name. Definitely targeted at being homey native speakers of Russian more than English-speakers, so you may need to ask questions or google to figure out what something is."
