"I feel it’s important to support local stores, however after several attempts to purchase and one delivered purchase, this lumber yard, now Hardware Hank, is on our only as a very last resort list. Today I stopped in looking for a bracket. Staff here treat you as an imposition, AFTER you wait for assistance. I also needed a white paint and was excited to see a slightly damaged can on clearance for $5. The staff member said it was on sale for $5, but was designed for tinting...great I asked if he would add a color. He laughed and said that’s when it goes to $32 per gallon. Seriously? After continued conversation, he said you can use as a plain white but it wouldn’t be a full can because of extra room for tinting. Great! Since the van was dented, dusty and around awhile I asked if he would shake it. Again, he laughed and said well these are clearance, so.... I left the store with no purchase and wil drive out of town to get paint. We also purchased lumber once, sight unseen because just basic lumber because they offer free delivery. A third of the delivery was damaged and unable to use. Lesson learned, look to see what you purchase and be home at the time of delivery. Skip this option if you appreciate customer service."
