"Awesome little grocery/general/hardware store. Amazing meat counter that multiple local restaurants depend on for the meats. The employees are always very helpful and friendly. Great deli products like freshly made pasta salads, potato salad, etc. A few heat&eat items and basically anything you need quick and don't want to drive far to get. Daily lunch specials cooked in-house and very reasonably priced. Locally sourced fresh produce when available."
"In an age where everything is automated and nothing is personal, Silker’s General Store is a welcome exception. Everyone was so kind and willing to help, and when I needed a product they did not have, the owner went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed."
"This establishment has been around for a long time and for good reason. The laborers that operate it are outstanding human beings. Personally my favorite part about this place is their daily lunch special. It is fast, delicious, fairly priced, and it is not greasy fast food. They have many other great traits as well."
