"Love her, she’s very nice and always goes the extra mile to answer our questions and listen to every concern we have."
"Do NOT bring your child to this Doctor. She does not care about her patients. Took my daughter to be checked on after an ear infection. Mentioned to Dr. Speake some other concerns I was having. One of them being my daughters urine looked cloudy in the toilet, to which her response was, "it'd be nearly impossible to see cloudy urine in a toilet bowl". I had to insist that it looked cloudy/foggy for her to reluctantly say we could do a urine sample and it has to be done today. Okay had her pee in a cup no problem. Came back as a UTI. Had I not insisted that her urine looked cloudy/foggy; what shape would my daughter be in now? Also makes me wonder about my other concerns I have for my child that were quickly dismissed."
"Please do not take your children to Dr. Speake. She absolutely does not even deserve 1 star. She doesn’t listen to anything you tell her and will even cut you off because she assumes she knows what you’re asking before you finish speaking so she answers questions that you’re not even trying to ask. I drew the line after taking my 2 MONTH OLD to children’s hospital for constantly projectile vomiting every time he ate. She told me to try a different formula and when that didn’t help she said he’d probably grow out of it. Luckily one of the nurses told me to take him to children’s hospital and it turned out he had pyloric stenosis and ended up having surgery that same day."
"If I could leave no stars, I would. One of my sons had and ear infection I took him in for, she said he didn't have anything wrong - we went to another doctor and he was prescribed antibiotics for it and he felt way better. I could deal with being wrong once.. but I took my infant in with a rash all over, a tongue tie, and a white tongue. She said he was fine. Went to urgent care again and he was diagnosed with eczema, thrush, and they scheduled a lip tie revision. My poor babies have have stayed in pain because of her and another doctor had to fix what she wouldn't. I'm very disappointed."
"Do not go to this pediatrician. My baby could’ve died because of her. He was in the nicu after birth for 2 weeks due to pneumonia. When he got released he was seen by her, but only because the nicu told her he had to be for blood work to check on a disease he was being tested for. A week later I call her because he kept crying every hour for a minimum of 15 minutes each hour and was severely lethargic. After waiting 3 hours we decide to take him to the ER. On the way there she finally calls and says she will see him the next day. This is without her asking ANY questions. We decide to still go to the ER and good thing we did because his blood sugar was severely low and he had to be admitted to the hospital. If we hadn’t taken him he could’ve died. Never go to this lady!"
