"This was my firs time ever, in life, visiting a chiropractor. I injured myself at the gym last Friday (10/29/2021). I looked on google to see the nearest Dr with decent if not great reviews and landed on Dr Rick L Brown. Upon calling to set up my appointment, the receptionist was very nice and helpful; explaining things when needed. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect after watching so many adjustments on YouTube (chiro core), but was willing to try anything as it hurt to walk. My appointment was on 11/1. Dr. Rick was very nice and informative. He explained things to me, I learned new medical terms, annnnnddd he let me know up front, he would only do what was needed and I would have homework. He also told me I would probably be fine after one or two visits. Dr. Brown handled me with care, he talked the entire time, which was welcoming as I was nervous. As it turns out, by him being a coach of a plethora of sports, he knows a lot of my classmates and other people that I grew up with which really made me more comfortable. First visit was a breeze, when I left I could walk without as much pain as I had before. I completed my home work Tuesday and Wednesday (a series of stretches) Went back for my follow up today (11/3) and I’m right as rain. It’s hard to find people in the medical profession who actually care about you as a human being and is not out to charge you an arm and a leg for his/her services. His office is warm and inviting (would make a super dope house), and I’m convinced that all of his staff are amazing (met different ones today during my follow up). I also loved the fact that he told me, “I never want to see you again, take care of yourself.” I found it amusing because it’s something I actually say to my clients (I work property damage claims) it’s like, thank you for your business, but I don’t wish for you to be unwell. All in all, if I ever have back pain again, Dr. Brown is my go to guy! Thanks again Dr Brown and staff!"
