"She is quick, but she always remembered particulars and paused for questions. Her upbeat personality helped me not focus on all of the things that could go wrong with my first pregnancy, and I had a very positive pregnancy because of it. Although my delivery wasn't ideal (emergency c section) I felt so happy she was able to be there to deliver. She was quick, excited for me, and left me the most minimal scar. She checked on me while inpatient in person, and kept up with my chart notes. She's like the cool aunt, who also is a brilliant OBGYN. She listened to me at my follow up and answered all questions and concerns I had. No doubt I will go to her for any pregnancy, and bring my daughter here when it is time."
"Cannot recommend Dr. Wiedower LESS. Bleeding at 11 weeks pregnant (same week I lost my previous baby)- "I don't care about that". Wouldn't give the OK for me to transfer to another provider within the clinic and since I had already started to pay for delivery, I was stuck with her. Prenatal appointments were all rushed and she seemed so annoyed by the questions I had (first time Mom). Scheduled an induction because baby was going to be "too big" Broke my water during delivery and cut my baby's head which resulted in low bilirubin and an extra night in the hospital. Gave me a timeline on how long I could push (because she didn't want to stay late) before she would force a C-section At my 8 week appointment, never once asked how MENTALLY I was doing. When I had concerns, she just said "go to Physical Therapy" but didn't recommend one. Called with actual concerns and she never calls back herself or listens to your complaints. She just sends messages back through her nurse. 0/10 would not recommend."
"Staff was great and Dr. Wiedower was very kind. She works fast but she listens well. Very happy with my visit today!"
"Love her!!!! She was great! Had to be put on bedrest for three months and she was very proactive, informative, and encouraging! During labor, she really rocked it out....made me feel like it was easy!"
"As far as personality goes I give Dr. Wiedower 5 stars! She is very high strung but I can relate to that so it worked. I will say, however, that I did feel rushed during in office visits (the reason for 4 stars) but I know her schedule was PACKED. They move people in and out of there like a herd of cattle sometimes. When it came to labor/delivery, she was AWESOME! Luckily, she was on call the night I had my son and it went down without a hitch. She always answered my questions and was very encouraging. The 2 drawbacks of the practice are: you don't get an ultrasound every visit like some other OBGYN practices in the area and you have to deliver at LR, Baptist. I was not impressed with L&D recovery stay, but that's a whole other review! I would recommend her if you're looking for a good OBGYN in the area. She knows her stuff!"
