"I called multiple days a week, weeks before I moved out of my previous place that I needed the electricity turned off and they kept telling me no for weeks until someone finally let me turn off service when I moved out the 31st. I started service at my new place weeks later and they told me it would be turn on in my name on the 13th. The website and app both said it is turned on and in my name at this location. They turned off my electricity and when I called to figure out why they said the account was never put in my name and claimed that someone attempted to contact me before shutting off the service. The only contact I got was from a personal phone number claiming to be Entergy saying they need a photo of my social security card. They admitted to me because the website and app was wrong and no one from an actually entergy number contacted me there was no way to know the account was not in my name. They also informed me they have no idea why it was not in my name or what I even need to do to turn my electricity on and are leaving me without electricity despite admitting they were the ones who messed up. It’s winter and I have a joint and blood disorder. The cold causes intense pain and immobility."

"I had my extension but it was removed for some reason. Now my bill is extremely higher than the last. I didn’t ask for my extension to be removed. And I can’t afford to pay such a large bill. It’s cold outside and house feels like outside. My lights can’t not be off. Or one and my family will freeze."

"It’s very very cold in my house. I talked to one of them customer service and I was promised that’s they wouldn’t cut them off until I pay Saturday. I’m currently in the hospital right now for my asthma and other heath issues. I explained to the costumer services. Already and it’s going to be cold the next day what am I suppose to do and also what’s the point of the extension if you all are going to charge more money that’s not helping anybody out. So I’m playing to file a law suit against your all because I can’t not be in a freezing house with my health issue."

"If I could give zero stars I would. I am leaving this review because of an incident that happened today. To preface I work from home so power is essential. I wake up and get my day started working at 7am. Then at 9:30 am I have about 8 trucks lined up on my road and my electricity shut off. At first I thought nothing of it. Then 3 hours go by and still no power so I call to try and figure out what is going on. Customer service told me they didn’t have any information other than and estimated time of 2pm for the power to be back on. So it seems like they didn’t even know what was going on. Keep in mind I had power up until they got here. So 2 pm rolls around and still no power. So I call again to file a complaint. My complaint isn’t that the power is off but the complaint is that they have no warning. So I sit on hold for about 45 minutes just to be told they couldn’t take my complaint because my name isn’t on the account and it’s under my wife’s name. Absolutely ridiculous. Take care of your customers."

"If I could change electric companies I would! Entergy doesn't care about their customers at all. It's not like you can go and switch services like other things and they know it, so they give you a finger like they've done to me and my family on numerous occasions like today. We've been without electricity today for 8 hours and counting and all they have to do is come and flip the breaker connector (or whatever it's called) on the transformer. I've done made several calls to them and all they keep doing is pushing the time later and later. They lied and said they would be out here by 10:00am this morning then they told us 12:00pm, then they said 1:30pm. It is 2:45pm right now and now they said it will be 5:30pm before they get out here."
