"When we were reviewing the house it looked beautiful, very spacey, and had a lot of light. We were very excited to spend our week vacation there. So when we pulled up to the house we were very happy, we saw how big it was from the outside. But as soon as we laid foot in the house our expectations dropped and there was a strong smell in the air. The lady there said it will go away as long as you turn the fan and open both doors. The smell did not go away but since we didn’t spend the entire day in the house, this problem didn’t bother us too much. There was no proper AC ( only in the living room and upstairs hall) in the upstair rooms there was no air conditioning and there were nights where it was burning hot. The first problematic incident was when I woke up in the middle of the night with a painful itch on my stomach. We later figured out that it was a tick. This bug was biting everywhere and when we told the owners what we can do about the bug problem they said they already did the pest control and it was just a bug out of the nature. (This was there solution and I was still bothered and couldn’t be at peace). After a couple of days, I found another tick on my body again (I’m going to attach pictures and videos of the tick for proof). To add on, there is only one bathroom with a shower, and the upstairs restroom was very tight and you had to scoot your legs to the side. And you’re thinking, it can’t get worse? Wrong. The electricity was very weak, it would cut out very often and we would have to go to the basement to turn it on. On the last night, our electricity cut off for good and that was the day we were going to pack up to leave. To our luck that day was very hot and humid and we couldn’t see anywhere without putting a flashlight between every hole to see if we left anything. Even when we went through all of these hardships( without AC, light) they cut deposits out of us because of the mess. On the other note, they also cut a 200$ deposit from a gas furniture that we didn’t even touch. You can see from this how unprofessional their company and business works. In conclusion, do not get fooled by other reviews. This cabin will make you suffer, and is very far away from all the main tourist attractions."
