"Beautiful Location and majestic views from the rooms. We visited in early february and enjoyed everything about it. The restaurant was beautiful and well kept. Wait staff was friendly and accommodating. The bar had a vast selection of adult drinks. The rooms were spacious and well kept. It felt like Arkansas' version of a Rocky Mountains Lodge. We will be back for my wife and I's anniversary in April just in time for spring foliage."
"This was our honeymoon place. We come back every year on our anniversary. We love doing the hike to the top of the mountain and put our names in. Beautiful spot. We stay in the cabins and they are absolutely beautiful. This year we stayed in the hotel and the room was wonderful. We loved the Jacuzzi tub. And the restaurant is amazing with a beautiful view. Love their breakfast."
"Went for two nights - plenty of time to experience all Mt Magazine has to offer. The lodge is impressive. Frankly, I had low expectations for a State Parks facility, but it was excellent. It is high quality and well maintained. The views were amazing from our third floor room. We stayed in a suite, which has a kitchenette, living room with fireplace, and bedroom. The bedroom had a whirlpool tub in it... a little weird and dated feature. My only complaint is the oddly tiny corner shower in the bathroom - I'm fairly thin and it was a tight fit. We hiked about 9mi and covered all the trails, except one. They are all well maintained and moderate in difficulty. The onsite restaurant was nice and all the food we tried was tasty and well-prepared. However, the menu is pretty strange. There's way too many fried items... so, not many healthy options. If you're a vegetarian or vegan, then you're going to be stuck with a salad bar as your only option. There's lots of potential... some small changes could really improve the menu options. Finally, every staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. Every service interaction was great. It's clear the staff take allot of pride in the facility."
"The place is for sure a place to visit, quiet, relaxing, romantic. We went for Valentines 2024. The toilet flushing is extremely loud, the water to jacuzzi tub was very slow to fill. But the room was clean, overlooking beauty for sure. The restaurant food was not the best but not the worst, definitely would not recommend the steak. Very friendly people there. Nothing to bad not to go again. Pool, hot tub was amazing, very clean and fun."
"Very beautiful place. All the staff were amazing. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Loved our fireplace in our room. We had an end suite with two balconies and the views from the balconies were amazing. We had the most relaxing time. Would definitely recommend and will be going again."
