"The pool was supposed to be indoor. It kind of is but it is cold as hell it that room. The owner turned off the jets in the hot tub to save money. We found bed bugs in our bed. Breakfast was pancakes and very little more. Won't be going back!!!!!"

"The bed was covered in hair, pee stains on the bed skirt, chair was covered in white stains and other discolored stains, carpets were disgusting. There was not mattress protector on the mattress either which was also covered in stains and hard as a rock. Lady at the desk said they do not offer refunds so I canceled the second night and going to spend an extra $15 for the night to stay at the Hampton or somewhere I know will at least be clean. She blamed it all on renovations but these are things that should be done daily. She did move us to another room and it was just as bad if not worst. The lights didn’t work in a couple of the lamps and the chair was covered in even worst stains. Just don’t stay here. At least not until the renovations are done. The staff is very nice."

"The carpets are as nasty as the google reviews I should’ve read first said. there’s a $100 Deposit requirement on top of the cost of the room which is definitely too high for the state of the hotel in general and the state of the room. they’re remodeling but it’s not evident in the rooms available. if you drive a truck and need to have the apu running be prepared for the police to come and wake you up to have to move your truck to the convention center and walk back. the pool was constantly filled with debris and the hot tub has no bubbles, the jets barely move the water. the building is falling apart with literal holes in the walls."

"The condition of the carpet in the room was not acceptable. It was discolored and sticky all over. It was very clear that the carpet should have been replaced prior to booking guests there. They should not charge close to $100/night with the unacceptable condition of the room. I did report the issue to the hotel and was told they "plan to renovate." I offered this feedback after they told me they offer no discounts after 30 minutes of check in: "For the sake of future guests, please fast track your renovation and reconsider the rates you charge before renovating. We could not place anything on the floor and had to wear shoes the whole time. This is not acceptable for the rate we were charged. You should also think about how difficult it is for travelers to relocate to another hotel in an unfamiliar area, especially when kids are in the group and the schedule is tight. Take a closer look at the room we stayed in and you might reconsider your 'no discount' policy." Additional info: I don't usually leave reviews and am not a picky person. I was thoroughly disgusted with this place and the lack of action by the La Quinta staff to resolve a problem with their hotel."

"This place is great! Negative reviews IMO aren’t giving this place enough credit. The rooms are clean, inviting, and all amenities. Towels smell fresh and are fluffy. Air conditioner kept us cool and comfortable and it was over 100 degrees. Parking area is safe, clean, and with plenty of spaces. Staff are helpful, courteous, and friendly. We will be back to enjoy the area with plenty of conveniences surrounding it. Many within walking distance. It is under maintenance and upgrades. Easy on and off from highway to get to major places in the area. Lastly, I sent a message to the hotel with very last minute changes to our already paid for reservation. They answered quickly and handled it smoothly."
