Reviews
"Pharmacy personnel actively denying coverage for normal cancer medication. These people are pure evil. Bounced around at every turn. They do not honor promises, and refuse to cover needed treatments for active members. Complete debacle. People that want the government to be in charge of all healthcare must be insane."
"Can't talk to a real person. Phone assistance is poorly managed."
"I have tried to call ABS on three separate occasions. First time recording “offices are closed” and it was 10 till 4pm. Second time, same thing. Third time today, it is before 4pm again and no answer, no message, and no way to leave a message. Poor public service. Someone needs to address this problem."
"They refuse to reach out and help public employees who are already paying high premiums deal with billing issues. They expect the employee to have knowledge to tell providers how to bill visits. Insurance rates are high, plans are a joke."
"I went with my spouse upon his retirement to turn in his paperwork. The people there were were nice. I give 5 stars for how we were treated there, but only 1 star for what followed, so 3 stars as an average is generous as I do not know the final outcome. Nice is good but accuracy is much better. On the initial visit we were told a new insurance card would be sent within one week. Seven weeks later, no insurance card. We try to login to the account and and print a card, but find out the account is no longer active even though all premiums have been paid on time. After sending e-mail and not receiving a response as soon as we would have wished, I called. Supposedly the new insurance card is in the mail and insurance has been reinstated with no gap in coverage. People, if you are going to retire, check everything and check it twice and check it again. Just because you are paying the premium it does not mean you have coverage."
