"Have always wanted to stay here and it did not disappoint. Wifi access was solid for meeting. Dinner and breakfast were very good and reasonably priced. Room was clean and comfortable. Amazing views."
"Only had lunch at the lodge & did not stay at the hotel. Wait staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu but could have been a tiny bit more attentive (checking back at the table more frequently) but still a fantastic place to visit. Menu choices are decent & the food was really good - homemade potato chips & sweet potato fries were spectacular!"
"The workers at the front desk were great, very hospitable and ready to help. The view from the porch can't be beat for a sunset. Update: I have stayed here a second time and once again the front desk staff were extremely helpful, nice and attentive to our needs. The restaurant is good with the food brought out quickly. The rooms are clean and quiet. This lodge is a gem and should be supported forever!"
"We stayed for 2 nights as a mini trip. The room was great. very clean, king bed with walk in shower. The front staff was easy to work with about getting our reservation and welcoming us when we arrived. The staff in the restaurant was great also. Views are great until our last morning.... heavy fog (no one's fault) it made for an interesting last morning and drive out. We truly enjoyed our first visit here."
"I visited here for the first time back in 1964. The floors were wood back then and there was a lot more rock and there were several steps to the entryway. The fireplace burned large logs and cracked and popped as we warmed ourselves in front of it. I think, (I may have just imagined it), but I remember that the waitress in the restaurant wore Dutch bonnets. The stairs to the rooms upstairs creaked. I have been many times since then. This was my first time since this newest hotel was finished. It is very nice with many upgrades. The rooms seem more like hotel rooms rather than the lodge rooms of the past. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was nice with a good variety on the menu. The views are spectacular and it makes one feel like they are on top of the world. I highly recommend a visit but in the fall it stays booked up, so plan early."
