Motel 6 Alma, AR 37 Collum Lane East, Alma, AR 72921

"This was my third stay over the past 18 months. Each time the rooms have been updated in this old building. My room, 115, looked just like the on-line pictures posted as of today. New vinyl flooring, all new textiles, new furniture, new bathroom sink and counter, recently painted walls but no odor of paint. Although the caulk around the top of the tub was not pristine, there was no sign of mold or mildew. Plenty of USB ports all thru the room. Very comfortable bed for my worn out back, hip and knee. Fridge and microwave hidden in the dresser. Nice big TV with many stations. Employees are always very, very nice and helpful. Easy safe access from the interstate Well lit parking lot. You absolutely can't beat the price for such a nice, clean and comfortable room. Great restaurant in the same building run by folks who have several restaurants in the area. Gas, various restaurants and Super Walmart close by. This is where you can get a great room and save some serious money."

"Just right room for a great price. Room was clean and well maintained. The AC / heat unit was super quiet. Stayed for a week and it was quiet every day. The staff was very helpful & polite. Great place to stay. This is our second extended stay at this motel. Will stay there again in the future and recommend to others who are going to Alma."

"I would not stay here again. The pros: Check in was easy and quick and the location was easy to find. The cons: The privacy latch was broken, which given the location, was concerning. I’m usually not someone weary of my surroundings but I was absolutely nervous at this location. The room looks like it was remodeled but everything was done so poorly that it looked bad and that things may fall apart any moment. Finally, the bathroom was dirty. There was hair in the bathtub and the bathroom floor. There was compacted dust on the floorboard in front of the toilet. I would not stay here again."

"Good affordable room for a night stay while traveling. Rooms appear to be recently remodeled. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and the shower was warm. Only negative was the door was a little hard to shut (You need to adjust the striker plate and add some weather stripping). Sink was a little slow to drain. All in all a great stay. I'm typically leary of motel 6 but I would highly recommend this one. Thank you!"

"If you love your life don’t sleep here! It’s not safe at all! Not to mention it’s not clean. We spent one night there and I will never return. The rooms were dirty & smelly, the towels stained and the blankets had cigarette holes burned into them in spite of the “fact” that the rooms were “non-smoking”. The worst part of the night was the fight that happened right outside our room! One guy was obviously drunk and the other one appeared to be drugged. The fighting continued until the police showed up. There ended up being four police cars outside. Things got quite noisy as the policemen took the necessary actions to break up the fight. They arrested the drunk guy and kicked the drugged guy out. Now we had a drugged guy on the loose which really made us feel “safe”. Needless to say, it was well past midnight before everything quieted down somewhat and we were finally able to get a few short hours of sleep. I spoke to the owners about the unsatisfactory stay and they just had a bunch of excuses and tried to convince me that the place was safe. I was not convinced. On the upside… well… there really wasn’t an upside to this situation. Just remember, if you love your family bring them elsewhere to sleep."
