"Impossible to get an appointment with. booked for weeks out. I call, get directed to the correct place, then it goes to voicemail nearly every time. Then no one calls me back, ever. it has been MONTHS since i’ve been able to get an appointment. The person who manages my medication and the nurse and receptionists are always helpful, but that’s where the help seems to end.The very few times people have answered i’ve been told “call back at a later date we’re currently full” (i have been told this more than once) this is an important appointment i NEED to happen asap and i am not receiving the care i need. If i could switch to a different place for mental health care, i would. Please don’t go here unless you have no other choice. EDIT: Shea was incredibly helpful. thank you."
"DO NOT do business here. If you are wanting help, go somewhere else. This place is awful at taking phone calls and you can’t ever get a hold of them. I’ve been trying to get help with my issues for DAYS and when I get transferred to the department I need to get ahold of, it goes straight to voicemail. The receptionist were helpful in getting me to the right place and understanding my urgency and gave me a time to call back and I still cannot get a hold of them. The ONE time I got in contact with the department, Tammy green was extremely rude but assured me my issue would be resolved the next day which couldn’t have been farther from the truth. I am currently still waiting to get in contact with someone to resolve my issue."
"I was always intimidated to go here or any counseling period. I showed up on an emergency type situation without going into details. I showed up as a walk in early in the morning went through the process and was told I would have an appt in two weeks. The young lady at the desk seemed quite concerned when I asked if there was anyone I could talk to or a crisis number she immediately got me with a gentleman that talked to me and got me into a safe secure place where I couldn’t harm myself. I was started on medication and am now going to weekly counseling sessions. My therapist is amazing so easy to talk to and set goals with. My meds are helping me so much. My life is already turning around I feel like I can see light trying to break through from the very dark depression tunnel. With the help I’m receiving here and my faith I hope to win this battle once again. I’m very thankful for the guidance center. And everyone there."
"Recently moved to the area and called to establish as a new patient for continuity of care. Over the phone they said they only do walk-ins for new adult patients. Weird, but OK whatever. Then they said they require me to go through testing and diagnosis even though I’ve already been diagnosed and been under care of my current doctor for several years. These are huge red flags. Avoid this place or any place that operates in this way."
"Not all are bad here But adults be careful of being proscribied medications because they will not validate adults before proscribing it. If you go manic then it's your fault for taking it as proscribied from them. They are not at fault because it's your job to validate yourself and know if the medicine is going to make you go stupid, ect. Some of them don't pay attention to you because their in other people's carts or they take a call in the middle of your appointment and someone else's issues gets put on your chart by mistake because they are not paying attention, and you find out that oh this was in your chart and it's about jone doe issues. And they refuse to remove it. Be careful calling in, You can call in just one time and the other two times would be the schedule clerk calling you saying your consoler or therapist won't be in and you'll need to reschedule, and after you call in your told you've been fired because you've missed three appointments when the other two was from them calling. So in other words you can call in once and the other two can be from them and your fired because it's your fault from the other two times you had to reschedule because your consoler or therapist was not able to show up for work two times in a row . So be careful folks this place can be either a blessing or a toxic nightmare."
