"Damon is incredible. He’s been cutting hair since 1993 and absolutely knows what he’s doing. I have dry, curly hair that I struggle to style in a masculine way. Damon figured out what I needed, went slow to ensure he didn’t take off too much, and let me be very involved in the process. I have not stopped getting compliments on my hair for 3 weeks from everyone around me (that’s never happened before!). If you’re looking for a masculine cut (and if you’re trans/queer!) ask for Damon."

"I was nervous about getting a haircut away from my regular spot. I made sure I had specific instructions for my cut and they nailed it perfectly. Great taper fade. And it was only $36!! This may become my regular spot. Update: just got my haircut from Tim and it's looking so good. I'm so glad I found a place that knows how to give fades. Such great service. This is now my regular place."

"By far one of the worst haircuts I've gotten. The lady took no time to listen and really understand what I wanted. I had pictures for reference and she simply glanced at them and started cutting. She did 3 quick swipes with her trimmer and there was no coming back. She styled my hair at the end and it looked like my 4 year old did my hair. The only good part was she did a good job on the neck and cheek lines of my beard."

"My son, who is on the spectrum, but does amazing at hair cuts and never has had issues in the past because the stylist typically listens to his nerds and my instructions. Our first experience at Floyd's was amazing with Alison, but we walked in and had another stylist who did not listen to any of my instructions and my son screamed and cried the whole time. She proceeded to "go as fast as possible because she knows children" as I'm instructing her to slow down and listen to him. Never again will I take him to this location. Sad because it is so close to our home."
