"The actual mechanics of the car problem is irrelevant. But, if you must know...after spending $1,500 on repairs at Autopia, the problem was nothing more than a bad grounding strap ($8.00 part) for the battery. Stan thinks 'he's the smartest guy in the room'. He doesn't realize he's not, unfortunately for him. And, when Stan was caught in his lies and became aggressively defensive, his choice was to throw the race card at me (yup, pretty pathetic). Stan's a crook and a liar and should read lots of 'help improvement' books. Avoid Autopia like the plague unless you need only a tire fixed and have no other choice. Thank me later!"
"This place will perform legit diagnostics and trouble shoot any problems you have with your classic to modern vehicles. Not a part changer type shop they find the source of problem and fix it. Trust me you will see at your visit. The owner of the shop is always present with running his business smoothly"
"I came to Autopia because it's just a few blocks from my house and I had a flat tire and the dealership I usually go to couldn't take care of it for a number of days. Stan took care of it in a timely fashion and for a great price. And he didn't try to sell me any additional BS repairs in the process! Great service, would return."
"I have a 335i 2010 hardtop convertible. I'm having a hell of time trying to find a good mechanic. I found one.,! Actually back in 1987, before they owned it. I brought my Porsche to this establishment. This sho has been around for a very long time. This business is actually staple with in the community. This man is a skilled mechanic. Along with the skills of being a mechanic. He also carries the skills of being able to communicate. Which goes well if he needs to explain to you the issues with in your auto. Which in turn allows you to have a better understanding. Give this business a try. Being a mechanical engineer myself. I trust this man with everything I got. Christian"
"I just don't go there anymore. Had them change my serpentine belt 2 years ago before a big roadtrip and they left some screws loose. This caused for a cover behind my tires to loosen and get shredded as it hit the tires. I noticed this halfway through my trip as I began feeling vibrations on my steering wheel. Eventually, this cost me about $60 to fix, not bad, but when I contacted Autopia they told me I could bring receipt of my cost and they would reimburse me. I got back into town and they told me that they hadn't removed any screws in that side of the car, WELL THEN WHO ELSE?!?! they never reimbursed me anything and well, I never went back. I used to go to Autopia for typical services like oil changes, but now I prefer Valvoline. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. [Below are pictures of the screws as found by the windshield wipers.]"
