"Excellent service from the service advisor. I went on short notice without an appointment; they close at 6, and I arrived after 5:35. It was a simple issue (removing the security nuts and replacing them with new ones since I lost the key). He was attentive and friendly. I don't recall his name, but the service was excellent."
"I have had the best luck with the Luther dealerships, and Westside was no exception. We found a car online I wanted to check out, but I could not find it in the lot. A sales rep approached us and just wanted to help. He ran into the showroom to locate car (which happened to be there). I fell in love immediately. David A. was so knowledgeable and patient, which made for a very smooth transaction. Highly recommend David and Luther Westside."
"Just would like to remind Helton Cerqueira how he lied about the warrenty of the 2013 passat tdi he sold me. I bought the car that was off a 6 month lease from him. Paid $28k cash as I was exporting the vehicle to Canada. Helton told me that I would have a factory warranty on the car, any issues, bring it to a US vw dealer and there will be no issues. This car was nothing but issues and turns out vw voids your warranty when it's exported. Cost me thousands to fix this vehicle. Helton offered zero help and walked away from this issue. Typical used car salesman."
"Horrible experience!! We had service done and asked if we could get a courtesy car, due to hail damage they said all cars were out being serviced but he would see if he could get a rental approved to be covered from the manager. My son was brought to the rental car company where I met him due to him being autistic and not having a credit card. I asked why they needed a credit card if it was covered a d they said they require a $50 deposit and it would be credited once the car was returned, I didn'tsign anything sayingI wouldbe payingfor this car. Volkswagen called when the work was done and had me leave the rental with them, I later discovered my card was charged almost $600 and immediately called the rental car company thinking there was a mistake and was told that Luther Volkswagen St. Louis Park refused to sign what was needed after several attempts from the rental car company. I was able to find out that this has been done to several people and now I am forced to seek legal help. Volkswagen was not helpful and completely denied saying they would pay and it is only covered with warranty work (another thing that was never told to me) fortunately I was able to get hold of others that have gone through this and will help me prove my case but please think twice about using this dealership for any service, when they do things like this I just wonder what else they are being dishonest with."
"WOMEN BEWARE!!!!!!! i have gone to this location for services quite a few times, today I had an experience that will make me not return due to this location being misogynistic and trying to take advantage of me being a young woman. I had booked a 40k mileage check originally, but also had noticed my low tire pressure light came on the other day so i figured I would have them look at it when I was there. they told me that my wheel was bent which was causing a leak in my tire. to fix this, I would need to install a new rim which they quoted me over $1,000 for. I told them I would have to think about it to decide. when they changed this tire to my spare, they put the tire & rim in separate locations. my tire was in the trunk, my rim was in the compartment my spare was kept in. there was a lot of communication confusion between the rep & the mechanic. I originally thought they had taken my rim because she said it was all in back seat. my tire was actually in the trunk, with no rim attached so when I called to ask about it, she said they normally take it but I was not asked if they could. then she called back & said it was actually in my trunk. I was very upset due to the lack of communication from this location & the fact that they said they take damaged rims without asking. I decided to get a second opinion from a few places who quoted me no more than $300 for a wheel replacement, if it was bad enough to be replaced. turns out, the wheel just needed to be reshaped which cost less than $150. this place is sexist & takes advantage of young women. they they tried to charge me over $1,000 assuming I know nothing about cars/pricings due to me being young & a woman. I unfortunately will not be returning here ever again for a service."
