"Always busy and a hot spot for locals to grab lunch. Only open 11 til 2pm. Last couple times visiting this place the food and atmosphere are pretty great, but first impressions of hostess have been less than stellar. Our waitress each time makes up for this and is always pleasant & friendly. Food comes out hot and flavorful. Highly recommend the onion rings as an appetizer. Limited seating for handicapped individuals."

"OMG!! This place has amazing food. Please try the fried green tomatoes and onion rings. It reminds me how my mother use to make them. The burgers are juicy and full of flavor. Hailey was awesome and super polite. I will definitely be back."

"Came in on a Monday for lunch with my debate team. Arrived at 12:20 and didn't get our food till 1:10. No shame to our waitress, but the table that was sat next to us got their food first even though there was more people and we arrived before them. This place should probably hire more staff because she seemed stressed. We left her a hefty tip. Food was still good though. Loved the political but casual atmosphere."

"We originally just chose this place because it was close to our conference. We did simple with the chicken strips, fried tomatoes, and green beans. The fried tomatoes were the best I've ever had from a restaurant. The chicken strips were seasoned well, the green beans had a good flavor, and the gravy was the perfect dipping "sauce" I ended up forgetting my receipt on the table and called about 30 minutes later. The person that I originally talked to sounded like she was not happy about finding a receipt and sounded pretty put off by my request to have one emailed to me. The manager, on the other hand, was very friendly and sent the receipt right over."

"This place has some of the best food around. I love their burgers and my wife loves their fried pork chops. Our food came out nice and hot, which you don't really get much these days. The service was great as well. Shan was awesome!"
