The Pantry Restaurant

"Wife and I were in the area for a doctor appointment and we were looking for something different to have for lunch. We settled on this place because we don't have any sort of German restaurants in the Texarkana area. Wife had the jäger schnitzel and I had the bratwurst with iron skillet potatoes and sauerkraut. The food was excellent, and with me not being a big fan of sauerkraut, I ate a pretty good portion of it... Definitely better tasting than the store bought stuff. I would highly recommend this place to others and hope to come back some day!"

"Such an awesome spot! The food was so good… so comforting. You can tell it’s homemade and made with love. Delicious flavors. Was hard to pick! Enjoyed the pommes frites and bacon wrapped dates for apps. The jager schnitzel was fantastic. The lasagna and svickova my friends got were really good. Lasagna is not traditional but delicious. The cheesecake is AMAZING. Might be the best one I’ve ever had. The apple strudel was also very good. Highly recommended."

"We wanted a dog friendly place, The Pantry had great ratings so we decided to give it a try. We were pressed for time because my son had a medical appointment, when we mentioned it, they hurried everything along and were super gracious. My wife and son had burgers, I had the sausage plate with a separate side of spatzle. All the food was awesome, the sausages were house made, bratwurst and Hungarian, both very different, both fresh and super delicious! Next time we are in the area, we will definitely come back!"
