"My coworker and I decided to stop and have dinner after a meeting and before another evening meeting. I ordered a burrito and he ordered fajitas. My burrito was ground beef and rice with lettuce. The ground beef was seasoned adequately and the rice was moist and also seasoned well. The other 3/4 of the burrito seemed to have mostly lettuce mixed with some other substance I don’t know what it was. My coworker’s fajitas were over seasoned and he had a hard time eating the vegetables that were plentiful on his plate. The service was not so good and I had to ask for water a couple times. Although the restaurant has been completely rebuilt I liked the old place with good service and good food."
"I was TRULY surprised with the great open space but totally DISAPPOINTED in this Tex-Mex restaurant, NOT having a HAPPY HOUR! There's a whole lot of restaurants in the area WITH Happy Hour! And their prices are extremely high for the food quality. The only good thing in my first visit since the renovation was my waitress, Lily. She was attentive & friendly. I am not sure about a return visit??"
"This was our first time to try them, the food was wonderful. I recommend the Enchiladas Supremas!! Their rice is buttery and flavorful the beans are tasty. The service was outstanding!!! Juli our waitress went way above and beyond to make sure we had everything. My friend wanted something spicy. She loves heat! She kept bringing out salsas for her to try until she found one that made her have to take a drink. This was a fantastic meal and a great experience again thank you Juli."
"Food was alright, burnt my food. Friends Ceviche had shrimp skin left on the plate. Other than that, atmosphere was more lively. Doesn't have the old feel anymore, can't blame them, all food prices have gone up."
"So they finally reopened after what seemed like an eternity. I mean c'mon man, they slapped up 2 Whataburger spots from scratch in less time for Riviera to do a remodel. But anyways, I had my usual favorite, the Maya Special. It took me a while to find it with the new menu layout but it's still there. It's a mix of steak, chicken, shrimp and veggies over rice and drizzled with queso. It's still very tasty but unfortunately it went up 3 bucks in price. And now you only get 1 refill on soft drinks. So with drink, tax and tip it was $27. That's grippy for Mexican grub. I anticipated a price jump after the reopen but now I'll have to visit less often. The service was very good and I really like the new booths that now have padding (before they didn't and were quite uncomfortable). Overall I'm glad they're back in business."
