"Don’t let the confusing and upsetting name keep you from stopping by. It’s good spot if you don’t feel like giving big fast-food your hard-earned money. I’ve been here twice. First time for a burger and then for the chicken. The burger was good, made with a seemingly fresh formed patty and topped with the standard fair, it’s your average dairy bar quality. The ultimate chicken sandwich was next. A frozen than fried, blender patty topped similarly to the burger with the special inclusion of BBQ sauce. The taste was acceptable - I found myself comparing it to McD’s chicken sandwiches and I have to say in that category Beef-a-Roo has them beat. I also tried their cheese curds. The curds were fried making the coating pleasantly crispy and the oozing melted cheese inside had the classic mozzarella chew. However, I will note that after having about six or seven curds, I felt I’d had too much. In terms of atmosphere, you can clearly tell that this is a former Krispy Kreme. Inexpensively painted and decorated. You’ll find the off-white walls with lime green accents and inexpensive chairs create an open and airy dining experience. Customer service was friendly and efficient. Appears to be counter service only with all the condiments and beverages within customer reach. I probably won’t frequent this place often. It’s a nice option to have and should make for a good nighttime stop."
"Service is slow. I was there and it was practically dead and food took like 20 minutes. But staff is very friendly. Food is very good and so are the shakes. Think high end Arby's Prices are not cheap. 40 bucks for 3 people. I'll be back I really enjoyed this place. I just need to remember to give myself time cause it ain't quick"
"This is my second visit to Beef A Roo’s and was really impressed. Today I had the bacon cheeseburger and was pleased with my food, it was served fast and accurately. Both visits were have been welcomed and greeted by the staff. It seems like the customers are not really an inconvenience here. If you’re on the west side of town and need a quick meal with great service I would recommend that you give it a try."
"The food is awesome. I love the cheeseburgers. They are seasoning the fries, so good maybe because there was no salt on them. The onion rings are good when they are not overcooked. Love the shakes the chili is great I just didn’t like the beans but that’s my opinion because I don’t like beans but the chili is good. Love the atmosphere one of the cashier ladies was awesome. I’m glad that we have a Beef-a-Roo now."
"I've been here twice now. First time was a double cheeseburger meal. The fries and burger were both excellent. The patties were seasoned which made it one of the better burgers I've had in LR. On the 2nd trip I had the beef and cheddar sandwich with fries and a cup of cheddar for dipping. The sandwich is very similar to another chain's beef and cheddar sandwich (it rhymes with Darbees). Unfortunately Beefaroo's offering needs a sauce that's similar to the one offered by that other place (it rhymes with Darbees sauce). Without that sauce it just tastes like beef and cheese. So the star of Beefaroo is their burgers. I probably won't visit too often cuz they are definitely on the grippy side but it's nice to have another option for good burgers. ***I went again a few days later and they did have some bbq sauce packets that will probably go well with the beef and cheddar sandwich. Perhaps they were just out of them when I went before."
