Stephen's Hair Salon

"Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience at Stephen's Hair Salon. I have sat and thought about it for a few weeks and wanted to make sure my response wasn't a gut reaction. He is kind enough, but the haircut I received was rushed, and I didn't get the impression that he was interested or at all cared about what I was hoping to achieve with my haircut. The brushes were dirty, and he was rather rough, so much so that my scalp hurt for a few days afterward. It was such a flurry that he scratched my forehead with his fingernails, which left a mark but thankfully didn't cause any lasting damage-it still hurt, though. About three weeks after, I ended up going to another hair salon, and they even asked me where I had my hair done as it wasn't done well, and it was uneven. Thankfully, they remedied the issue, and I am now happy with my hairstyle. In hindsight, I should have just walked out when I started feeling uneasy with how my haircut was going, I think I just felt overwhelmed with how quickly it was happening that I just froze. Lessons learned for the future, I suppose. I normally would not post a negative review but it has been an experience that I keep thinking about, and I would have wished to have known prior so I could make an informed decision."
