"Horrible. My dad went to get a tooth extraction and after that, horrible results. He got an infection, which can happen, but then when they went in to check, they took an xray and prescribed more pain meds. Did not get better. Eventually he ended in the ER with a swollen face and needed surgery. The doctors found a root of the tooth was still in there, which Vang dentistry did not see on the xray. One tooth, cost thousands of hospital bills. This place knows nothing. Only there to take advantage of old hmong folks. Would give zero stars if i could."
"One star is too generous. Worst dentist ever. No bedside manners and no social etiquette. He inserted the needle into my sons tooth incorrectly. The needle hit the root/ bone. We told him to stop and he said no I have to numb it and kept jabbing at the tooth. You’re supposed to numb the nerve not stab the bone. Super incompetent. Not sure how he’s in practice. He is an example of why people end up being traumatized and have dental anxiety. Also side note they don’t do bigger fillings if you need it only minor ones, they don’t do roots canals, or extractions. Everything is referred out because it is out of scope for the dentist. I’d say find a quality dentist if you’re able. Someone with more experience, skill, compassion, someone professional with bedside manners."
"I have been going to this place since 2012 but one of the reason why I do not go to this clinic unless my other clinic is fully booked because of what I experienced today. I went for a cleaning. The hygienist took my xray then she used the mouth mirror w/ sharp tool to take a brief look at all my teeth. Then she went straight to the computer and I saw her just randomly type all kind of 2, 3, 1 when she didn't even checked my gum at all. She supposed to get a coworker and go through each space between my teeth individually, but she never did and just lied. I know because I lit my head back and saw her randomly typing # to all the rectangle (records sheet). Then she started to brush my teeth for only abt 30-40sec or maybe 1 min most which I felt it didn't help anything. Then she got the scrapping tool and used it on a couple of my tooth and said we were done. The whole thing only took her like 5- 8 minutes most. She didnt even floss my teeth nor put on the fluoride varnish at all. I'm so disspointed. I want to support Hmong professionals, but these kind of things made me stop going here. UPDATE: I just got my bill today and I was charge for fluoride when they didn't even put any on my teeth."
"I have been here twice and I have 3 complaints. The first time I went, they left tartare on my teeth. They didn’t remove it all although they were supposed to. The second time that I went that was just 3 or so days ago, they injured my lower gums. It was the assistant who had a tool pressured against my gums while the doctor was doing the cleaning . She had the tool pressed very hard against my gums for a few minutes. I immediately felt the pain right after and was bleeding, but the doctor said it was because he removed a lot of tartare from lower front teeth. The pain gets worse by each day that goes by, and I have developed extremely painful sores. I can’t even eat or drink anything in peace. The doctor was very nice but they need to train their assistant on how to be careful when they are working with patients. I am the one suffering the pain from her poor choices. Both times that I went, I’ve had to wait One hour over my appointment time to be seen."
"Don't waste your time choosing this place for your parents. The waiting time is ridiculous. Been only three appointments and we've always waited over 30 minutes to be seen. Today's appointment was at 12pm and its currently 1pm. No apologies except that we were told the dentist will be here with us soon. And he's barely started on a new patient. Still not us yet. Smfh. Sorry but wish they had a better system of getting to their patients on time. Update, we were only seen for ten minutes or less and we waited for over an hour. To get to the point, go elsewhere. Overall, he is a great dentist and caring, but the waiting time may or may not be worth it."
