"Went here in summer 2022 worst cleaning ever. Rushed the service and very rough. After appointment days after experienced pain with teeth. Would not recommend this place lack of care and Extremely rushed service."

"It's 7:01am right now and both my son and I have appointments for 8am. Appointments that took well over a year to make because they only book out so far at a time and tell you call back in whatever time frame that is. I happened to get lucky and the last girl I got on the phone told me the exact day to call. Great!!! So they literally just called and can't seem to find my insurance in their system so I will have to pay out of pocket today and that they'll refund the outrageous amount once my insurance pays it. Reading these other reviews I passed but am beyond annoyed nonetheless."

"I came in for a chipped tooth. I was told that the tooth needed to be pulled. I was okay with that. When the dentist began his work. He used a tool and trying to yank the tooth out single-handedly. He attempted that maneuver twice. When he realized that wasn’t working, he used a tool to chip away at the tooth. As I sat in the chair he chipped away at the tooth for nearly a hour. The dentist then proceeded to tell me that he left a piece of the tooth in the cavity. I asked why? He said he couldn’t get it. With that I was sitting in the chair for close to 2 hours. I said okay what does that mean for me? He reply’s well dentistry is a science! I said will it cause any issues. He told me no. I was still numb from the Novocain. I came home to rest. The next day my jaw felt like it was on fire. I called to ask for an antibiotic. The woman whom answered wanted to argue with me like I shouldn’t ask for an antibiotic. I now have to go to a specialist to get the piece of tooth he left.Just ALL AROUND BAD SERVICE….. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE……"

"I went in for a routine cleaning. The staff was nice but I felt that the service was very rushed compared to other dental clinics I've gone to. The one star rating goes to the fact that they over charged me and never let me know. I became aware of being over charged when I got my EOB. I gave them a months time to see if they would contact me but they never did. After a month, I called them and they said they would send me the credit in check form and that I would receive it in 3-4 weeks. Five weeks later I still havent received it so I called back and they said that they will process it now and it will take another 4 weeks. I was unhappy with that answer so they offered to refund it back to my credit card, which should have been an option the first time I called. It has been almost 3 months since I've been made aware of the over charging by my insurance company and yet Smile Center of Saint Paul never once informed me of it or tried to fix it (even with me making them aware of it). If I didnt follow up with this, I feel they would have just kept the credit. I will never come back here and would not recommend this place to anyone else."
