"I drove all the way from Rochester to MPS to have my hair cut by a professional curly hair specialist. I was matched with a 19 year old recent graduate. She was very sweet and spoke with me throughout the cut. However, she disregarded my haircut instructions - which were to keep the hair long and cut the split ends and add some short curls in the front. Instead, I walked out with an UNEVEN Bob. When I went to a next door place to grab food the cashier gave me a funny look. Shortly after, back in my car, I noticed small strands of hair leftover on my face. It felt like she didn't pay attention to the final results/ my face. For reference, I attached the short uneven cut I woke up to this morning. The other photo is after my last hair cut, over a year ago by a curly hair specialist in NY who I gave the same instructions to. My hair has grown a lot since, and it's now back to being shoulder length. I'm devastated. *Update* The management team reached out to me, apologized, and offered to recut my hair for free. When I wasn't able to make the trip in from Rochester in time, they fully refunded my haircut and even recommended a specialist in Rochester. I really appreciated the way this was handled. Mistakes happen and my hair will grow back :)"

Rosie is my regular stylist, but over the years, if Rosie wasn’t available, I’ve seen other stylists at Curl Power and the results are always beautiful curls. They do a great job coloring and highlighting curls too. I think coloring and highlighting curls is truly an art because of all the bends and twists. The staff at Curl Power taught me how to wash my curls ( it really is different than washing straight hair) and how to style (using clips while my hair is drying to give my curls lift and bounce). For years I spent hours drying and straightening these curls, but never again. Now I embrace my curls!"
