"I do foster care, health partners dental will say they don’t have capacity for new clients children are on medical assistance (even when their plan is managed through health partners). But when asked if they have capacity to take new clients with other insurance they do. Very sad that they are managing the insurance but not accepting patients with that insurance."
"Excellent service dedicated to their patients, me and my now 4 years old are very happy and lucky to have such great team taking care of our dental health"
"The dentist Bill he is very good but my experience with Lisa his assistant she came out very racist she looked at my teeth and said that only people of color have bad teeth. that white people have better teeth because of where they come from so I will never go there again until they get rid of her."
"Edited review in 2022: Dr Harrison is a good dentist for healthy teeth. I have had issues with fillings, root canals, and crowns that he put in that have prompted me to go spend thousands at other dental practices. Have also had issues with billing where I was told I was not going to be charged, and then received a surprise bill in the mail."
"These people have no compassion. They have a 3x cancellation policy that bans you from there location if you cancel without some period of notice, which was not clear. I wasn't notified that whatever cancellation may have occurred in the past counted as strikes, another poor practice. First time they might have counted me as a cancellation is because there is an identical address in Minneapolis Como to the clinics address, which resulted in me being late. Seems like a reasonable mistake. I do remember cancelling another early morning routine cleaning appointment the day before because I was heavily sleep deprived and overwhelmed by grad school. I remember giving them at least 24 hours notice of this. They did not tell me it would count as a strike. This time, I had urgent dental problem that I needed to be seen for ASAP, and I had to change this initial appointment due to finals, but there time was limited so I was forced to schedule myself 40 minutes after my final, but I did not factor in my disability related time extensions for tests and at the time didn't know if I would be starting the test at the same time as the rest of the class or just have more time after. It turned out to be the latter. I have no idea if they counted my changing my time as a strike. The only reason I scheduled the appointment so close to my final is because that was their only opening in weeks to months, so I had to. The test ended up overlapping with my proctored final, and I obviously can't be talking on my phone while taking the test, so I had to be succinct and hang up ASAP or I could risk being accused of academic dishonesty. I called them back after and they told me I was banned because I cancelled 3 times I don't remember the other 2 times and they didn't tell me. This is not like some kind of routine cleaning, it is something much more urgent and for them to dump me how they did is cold. Communication could have been improved on both sides. Expectations could have been more clear and I should have the right to know how many strikes are on my record with them and why. Of course, when I do come on time I end up waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes or more, and to be fair it is sometimes less but they have left me waiting for appointments plenty of times because they are a little behind schedule which is perfectly understandable but when a patient has extenuating circumstances that make them late or miss an appointment or cancel without enough arbitrary time, they get to strike me and kick me out. This is a double standard across all of healthcare, but it doesn't make it any less hypocritical. If you are a punctual person who loves waiting in the waiting room for a half hour for your scheduled appointment wasting precious time, this is the dentist for you. But if you slip up and waste a second of the clinics time, they will put a little X by your name like your a kindergartner and meticulously track how many times your were late or didn't cancel in what they considered a reasonable notice, which could be 48 hours, and things can come up in 48 hours or whatever arbitrary number that they decided on that causes you to be late or miss an appointment throughout the course of your care 3 times, your out. I'm tired of how much power doctors, dentists, and other healthcare professionals have over us and how they don't even live up to the standards they set for their patients. Let's make an example out of this company. Park Dental, you will never see a cent of my money again. I encourage anyone who does go to Park Dental to inquire about their cancellation policies, what they count as a strike, and how many they have on you. Or just go somewhere else. Only good thing about this place is it is a cute building in a lovely little commercial district."
