"My root canal was mostly pain free and the staff was friendly. Wouldn't recommend a root canal, but a good spot to get one if needed!"
"Dr. Miller and his staff gave me excellent customer service and professional care. I have all the confidence in Dr. Miller and his staff. As a referring dentist, I know my patients will receive the best care possible. Frank J. Milnar DDS, AAACD"
"I have never felt more scammed in my life. After my first visit to this location last week, I will never go back; being charged almost $600 for an x-ray and a consultation that they claim my "insurance wouldn't cover." I went to a dentist a couple weeks ago because my back molar that has been crowned since childhood had abscessed and was causing discomfort. That dentist reffered me here for a root canal so I called and scheduled an appointment with Doctor Miller. After finding out later from family/friends about their experiences and how much more I'm going to have to have done (that the dentist didnt share), I had decided I wanted to just pull the tooth to save time/money/pain in the future. I called the office several times and left a message explaining that I wanted to cancel the appointment if an extraction couldn't be done. I was taking time off work and driving 40 minutes to this appointment so I wanted to cancel asap to not waste anyone's time. No one returned my calls though so I went to the appointment as planned. When I arrived at the office and filled the receptionist in on the situation, she said that they were having issues with their phone system and were short staffed so that's why they didn't recieve my message. She said she would let her manager know about "the phones not rolling over" and that I would have to talk to the doctor about what I wanted to do. She also informed me that they were going to take an x-ray that would cost $275 out of pocket to determine what my best option would be. I agreed to it, like a fool, and waited to be seen. After an assistant brought me back and took the x-ray, Dr. Miller came in to go over the image with me and talk about how much bone loss there was... still trying to get me to do the root canal. When I said I wanted to do an extraction, he informed me that he doesn't perform those and I would have to go somewhere else. He left, after being in the room for less than 10 minutes, as the assistant got a flashdrive of my x-ray and a referral sheet to another doctor's office in the same building for an extraction. I will say, everyone in the office was very nice and professional during this visit. Despite my frustration with no one calling me back, my experience was pleasant. That is, until it came time for me to leave. As I was getting out of the chair to leave the room, the assistant came back in saying "he wants to make this a consultation" and added a $310 charge to my bill on the computer in front of me. This brought my bill to $585 in total. Immediately I questioned it, and she left to go talk to the receptionist. After about a minute, I went to the lobby to hear what was going on. The receptionist then took over and told me that I'd have to pay the $585 right then and there because "insurance doesn't cover it." After arguing back and forth that I was being charged more than the root canal I had originally come in there for, and how if they had answered one of my many calls I wouldn't have even come into the office.. she just kept saying "I'm sorry about that, but this is our policy." I'm still infuriated about the whole situation. I will be calling my insurance to find out if they were being honest because I don't understand how they can charge so much for doing so little. Part of me wishes I had just walked out, but I've never not paid a bill. I strongly recommend going somewhere else though."
"Never had such a thorough root canal. Hurt like hell for 3 days so I think the clean out was complete. Dr. and staff were very professional and thorough. As good an root canal experience can be."
"Having a root canal done on the upper gum can be a very painful experience. Having about 10 root canals done over the course of my life I can attest to the fact that they are indeed painful. The one I had yesterday was the least painful one I have ever had. I never felt the needle inject the Novocain, nor did I feel any pain the entire procedure. It was an incredible experience, considering I was white knuckled the entire trip there and during the procedure waiting for the pain to drop. Dr. Aguirre was absolutely wonderful. My only problem was, as a senior citizen having to pay $1700 for a root canal is absolutely outrageous !"
